i havent played a paper mario since the n64 when i was like 10 and im currently play pokemon ruby while building anticipation for diamond and yes i will own you online. cant wait.

Thanks for yet another boring and pointless thread. Since you posted in system wars, you're obviously looking for a fight over opinions. I'll just tell you what you want to hear.

 I have never played these games but I can tell you that I know for certain that they suck, Nintendo is teh kiddy, oh em gee graphics, pokécrap, etc etc.

The last Pokemon game I played was silver, but I may get this one if the online play is any good, it seems perfect for the game.

Super Paper Mario is going to be ****ing amazing. Easily a AAA game. If not... WHO CARES! I am still going to play it and love it.

Super Paper Mario will rock. I can't wait for it. :D I'm getting Pokemon as well, but who isn't? I expect another multi million seller from this title.

KINDA OFF TOPIC BUT... when i look at Super paper Mario cover, i have a hard time taking sheep seriously when they say that nintendo is not kiddy :lol:

Mario himself looks no "mature" then again none of his games really have except for maybe Mario and Luigi games. However, the script writing in Paper Mario games are well done, and have a great sense of humor the older audience would enjoy. It doesn't over do it like most RPG games, and instead it pertains to a more mature sense or writing. Not in a vulgar sense, but in the context of it not being "Lets save the world, Super Sonic team YAY!!" -Sonic Heroes. Seriously, the writing is fantastic. I loved the little Yoshi dude in TTYD. "Its STUPID cold out here!!" and always calling Mario by his fighting name. :P PM games give their characters well written dialouge to accompany and portray their character very well.

I can't wait to get my hands on both of these games. Though I think I'll be picking up the Pearl version of the Pokemon instead of Diamond. I like the pokemon on that cover better. I think I'll even get PBR when it comes out. The last Pokemon handheld game I played was Red and Yellow. Never really took the time to play the ones that came after it. Though want to get the Game Cube version if I can ever find a copy. Say what you will about the anime/cartoon, while not to bad as I once though, the games have always been great.
