I don't think MS is really concerned about 360 games being on PC as most all PC games require WINDOWS to play them on, and most PC gamers use Windows. especially with how PC games all have the "games for windows" stripe on the top of the box now
How does 360 games ending up on the PC make people buy PS3's? That makes no sense. And games like Alan Wake & Gears were always knnown to be going to PC & 360, they were never "exclusive" to the 360. ColoradoKindBud
Well, I had a customer yesterday who said he "hated the Xbox 360, because it's just another dumbed down PC". Evidently that same day he was picking up a PS3.
Not that my example is any indication of nationwide/wordwide perception, but it was interesting nonetheless.
No. Many (specifically those published by MSGS and major 3rd party publishers) will, but that works both ways, and we will likely see 360 versions of many PC exclusives like WiC and SupCom.PBSnipes
Yep. It's not necessary a bad thing, because 360 is getting some nice games like Left 4 Dead.
Xbox360=Microsoft
Windows=Microsoft
thats why the games are going from 360 to pc or the other way around.
Firstly, Microsoft makes money off of the PC ports. That's why they do it.
Secondly, why would a game being available on the PC as well as the 360 make someone want a PS3? That makes no sense whatsoever...
Wow, when was Mass Effect, Halo 3, AC6, Dead Rising, GRAW (you know, the GOOD version), Kameo, etc. announced for the PC?Verge_6
If that's all you've got then there's definitely no reason to have a 360. I'm kind of regretting buying mine recently because although the exclusives are decent, I could've easily lived without them.

Yes, if anything, they would buy a better PC or a 360 to PLAY the game....

Guess there's no reason to have a PS3 either, seeing as it has yet to have a single AAA exclusive. After all, who gives a flying damn about all those multiplats and upcoming games? And the fact some people don't have the money to get a PC that can give them an experience similar to the 360...pssh, who cares. :roll:

Until it's officially announced, one cannot say they are no longer 360-exclusive. Those are the rules.

No, but gears, bioshock are and the 360 is loosing key exclusives to the PC. That means we can upgrade our PC and buy a PS3(but its costly) and enjoy MOST of what this gen has to offer.
BTW i am pissed off because of the exclusive games 360 share with the pc and the PS3 still get to keep their exclusives. Why does MS port thei own ip to the PC and not keep it exclusive, sound stupid to me.

1)Gears of War took literally a year before it was ported to the PC, and Bioshock was NEVER a 360 exclusive to begin with. And why would I want to enjoy MOST of what this gen has to offer when I can enjoy ALL that this gen has to offer? Riddle me that.
2)...Think about this. What company is behind the 360, and what company is behind the dominating OS?

you make it sound as if MS was a primarily a cnsole gaming company.

MS dominating OS really has nothing to do with PC gaming really =/. Only thing they use games for with thier OS is to push said OS to be main stream. Hence why there are some Vista only games. I'm pretty sure they are paying the price for that though.

I'm saying MS dominating the OS area has nothing to do with PC gaming. Them publishing a game doesn't make a difference until that game requires say... Windows vista and doesn't run on any other OS. There are almost no games that are vista only so it has very little to do with PC gaming..
If that person already owns a decent PC, which is a good chance, then that is why.Firstly, Microsoft makes money off of the PC ports. That's why they do it.
Secondly, why would a game being available on the PC as well as the 360 make someone want a PS3? That makes no sense whatsoever...
