are any of the PS3 owners feeling overwhelmed by the sheer number of games

i mean, FFXIII is out, heavy rain is out, bioshock 2 is out, GT5 and truck loads of other games are coming out (exlusive only on the trey), i feel like im falling behind while everyone else is leveling up in MAG and Bad Company 2, im suck playing catch up.....meanwhile we have the MOVE coming out, plus i wanna play wii when galaxy 2 comes out....oh brother.....if only i had a 360 instead of all this

Yeah because I am still catching up on games that came out 6 months ago, like I just picked up Batman AA. But I beat Heavy Rain already so that helps a little.wooooode

final fantasy xiii, bioshock, battlfield bad company 2, Mass Effect 2 are already out on 360

SC:conviction, Alan Wake, Halo Reach, Potal 2 are coming to the 360 soon

In a way yeah, but at least there's a lot to choose from. I've put a couple titles on hold for now, but for the most part I've just been in spend mode. I have a pretty big backlog, but I've dwindled it down a bit so I don't feel so bad buying new games now.

Not really I am only slightly behind i just need to get Bioshock 2 and Yakuza 3 at the moment, and maybe Resonance of Fate aswell. Which i should have before the end of the month

Don't worry you will get used to it, luckily 360 owners have had a steady stream of games so its not a shock to the system :P.

Seriously though Im just dropping everything once SMG2 hits.

I'm picky, so I don't have that problem. No FFXIII or Heavy Rain for me, just God of War Trilogy Edition.

I still didnt play Heavy rain and FFXIII though I already bought them but still unwrapped Yakuza 3 is sucking my whole time and soon I will buy resonance of fate and still didnt beat SO4 I guess ya I'm falling behind I cant keep up with all the games coming out recently and its worse if you have all consoles I need to pick fragile dreams and infinite space soon, still playing lunar on PSP.

Most of the time these threads pop up from people that dont even own the "said console"..Having said this, while the 360 might have 5k games only about 20 are worth having. So what would it matter if the PS3 had 5k games to choose from if only 20 were worth really having?

And last time I looked 360 and PS3 have nearly the exact same games and each have their own exclusives. So I really fail to see what the problem is? Not only that but the PS3 has a LOT more to offer over the 360 "to me"

I agree with TC, i yet have to play bioshock 2, i have it but not opened it. I even quit play wow to have more time for consoles but it still not enough time. I have 55hrs in FF13 atm and only at chap11 grinding mats/exp...always have that feeling i need hurry so i can play the other games

You know, it's weird but Yakuza 3 is the only game that's come out in the past year that makes me consider possibly getting a PS3.

honestly if i were ps3-only i'd be bored right now (if not for GOW3 coming tomorrow)

but since i'm multiplat and there's now games on every platform that i want to buy (Metro 2033, GOW3, 3d Dot Game Heroes, Alan Wake, Metroid: Other M, SMG2, DAO:Awakening, Perfect Dark XBLA, etc.)

yeah i'm pretty overwhelmed, i've still got like 8 games i'm trying to finish atm

This March and April there are way too many games to buy.

There are ALWAYS too many games to play for me, but I don't have a lot of time to spend on gaming. At least not as much as I'd like.

No, not really ^^ Not because there are no games, but because the games I have an inttrest in generally are few and far between.

I do not run out and buy every mainstream title, that is agreed is good for the masses... (I am going to grab a copy of GoW3 tho). last games that I really felt I needed to buy was UC2, and KZ2, kinda debating with myself if I should get Heavy rain or not.

It is generally like this on all the platform I own, or more likely it is likely because I own more then 1 platform that I am more picky (the waves of games you had to buy if you bought all of them is insane).

and I prefer my PS3 to be sp, or social mp (in same room) so that does limit the games I want for it.
