ok so you have GRAN TOURISMO - which is great, but whats changed?

METAL GEAR SOLID- great again but sales for these games drop with every new game,and its made by a third party dev who say they have to sale a million on its first day.metal gear has also been on multiple consoles including a microsoft platform

FINAL FANTASY- same again with ever new installment it gets less popular and less interesting, not an opinion a fact from a hardcore ff fan. also has been on multiple consoles.

KILLZONE - i dont get this one, you can quote me on this, this game is only being hyped for its graphics, big woop, lets all hype that underwater wii game as well. first one was a generic bad game so why is the second one going to be so mighty?? the devs have a very bad track record.

HAZE - not proven and also made by a third party dev, well this one is only a timed exclusive am i right? didnt sony annouce it themselves?

LITTLE BIG PLANET - i really dont get this one, im thinking, lemmings but where you can share and create levels? is there more to it?

I don't care where the games go, I am worried about them getting delayed though.

I'm sick of waiting and Metal Gear Solid, Grant Turismo and Final Fantasy are notorious for delays.

It would suprise me if FF13 came out next year. LBP looks pretty awsome though.

I think cows aren't worried at all. I mean they were so confident about the exclusives in 2007 a year before and look how it turned out. I'm not worried at all about any system. But I feel the PS3 will do ALOT better than it did this year and better than the 360 next year.

Reistance 2 is a game you forgot as well as INFamous. Those game won't go to the 360.

Everyone hypes their games, it's SW culture. This year was bad luck for Sony in some ways. With the high porfile titles coming out in 2008 it will be hard for the PS3 to continue on the track it's on now. Only brighter day are to come... much brighter.

But this is the first one on the PS3 which makes this game more special than the PS2 sequels. And they didn't say the game had to sell one million on day one. This was a mistranslation which was said often on these forums. Guess you only remember what you want to remember huh?

Also first PS3 iteration of this game. I do agree they didn't get better after ffix but I've good hope that XIII will be awesome.

The game looks as if it plays nice as well as looking good. Shooters always sell well; especially when they get a lot of hype *cough halo cough*. Comparing it to KZ1 is stupid; this games budget is so much larger. Sony is investing a lot in this game.

I'll give you this one. I don't care for this game at all. Lots and lots of people do though, including Gamespot editorial staff judging from what I've read.

What the fanboys here don't get is that even on the PS2 for instance, only 2.5% of ALL PS2 owners bought MGS3. And less than 5% bought Final Fantasy XII.

In other words, the general PS2 consumer base and gaming community as a whole didn't give two sh*ts about those "big guns" when you look at the big picture. And unfortunately, the majority of the niche market that they appealed to is the same one that have already bought PS3's.

Yes, those titles will create a small spike like Halo 3 did in sales. But ultimately, I really don't understand why cows make such a big deal about those games.

Console price is ultimately the most important factor. Until the PS3 is cheaper than the 360, it's going to be a very long uphill battle.

Metal Gear Solid 4, LittleBigPlanet, Gran Turmiso 5, and Final Fantasy 13 and versus 13 are not going to the Xbox 360 anytime soon.If you want to play those exclusives you have to buy a PS3.

Why would they be worried?!? According to the Sony fanboys, they have been doing great since launch!! I didnt say it was accurate, but if you read over half of these dillusional topics recently created, the 360 and Wii will just stop production all together and the gaming world will be handed over to Sony...
