I'm not sure if I understand what you mean. Everything system has exclusives and multiplats.
The "console exclusive" argument just seems to exist to exclude PC rather than say what isn't available on PC. The same argument can be made to say games not found on PS3 (Left 4 Dead 1/2, Fable 3, etc.) or games not found on Wii (Bayonetta, RDR, Dead Space, etc.). Just because a certain system is a console does not mean it can only be paired with consoles. I can boast how the combined exclusive libraries (in this case, meaning games not found on 360) from PC, PS3, and Wii dominate the 360's exclusive library, but instead of being used to say what isn't available on it, it's used to claim "ownage."
The only reason why I bring up the "console exclusive" argument is because most people boast paying a cheaper price for a console over a PC when it involves a direct price comparison. Consoles are cheap by themselves, but it seems hypocritical to say that paying $750+ - $800+ dollars is cheap as long as the money is spent on consoles. The only way you are going to get all of those "console exclusives" is to buy every console, and that is just excluding the games and other miscellaneous items.
**For the most part, preference plays a huge part in what a person may play, but preference cannot be debated since it is an individual's opinion. My argument refers to availability/variety rather than what type of games an individual may prefer.**
