well in defense of the wii well.....you cant really compare the power of the wii to the PS3...thats likesaying a baby couldnt win a fight against andre the giant..we already know its not impressive but come on? its a little lunch box, you cant have your expectations so high

I own all systems, so I have no reason to defend the game. I think the single player is good enough, but has some drawbacks. I find it enjoyable, though. And for a Wii game, yes, the online is fantastic.

I've enjoyed games with far lower scores before (croc legend of the gobbos, lost winds etc)

I think people can handle playing a mediocore game if they've been looking forward to it.

I don't think anyone here can say anything unless they actually play the game. All these "I knew it was going to suck" posts are worthless, unless they played it. No amount of videos or pictures or reviews are going to give anyone an accurate report of what it really Feels like to play the game. I'll withhold judgement until I can get my hands on it (rent probably)

I've been playing The Conduit for the past three days, and it's complete bs that it didn't even get a 7. The Conduit is far superior to MoH, which scored an 8.0. The online doesn't need to be revolutionary, nothing does. It's a damn fun game, and that should be enough.

That's some pretty spun standards there. I don't understand why people think using other generic shooters (I'm not even sure if Halo qualifies as heneric. That word is overused as well) excuses the Conduit from being "generic"? FPSs focus greatly on online but it is not an excuse for the single player to be poor. Its part of the package and has to be graded as such. Good online and controls are not enough to save a game from being mediocore. You should just be happy that you (and apparently lots of other people) are enjoying the game.

my standards and todays standards (critic score) are compleatly diffrent

i was talking about if you compare it to the fact that CoD WaW got 8.5 or killzone got 9.0

if it where for me i would give all those generic shooters a 7.0

Listen: Nobody cares that you don't like the Conduit. So you were dissapointed? Fine. There are plenty of people who love it, so let's not go insulting them. I haven't played it, but it makes me mad when people go insulting others just because they like a game they don't like. Get over it.

I cant believe the gave medal of honour heroes 2 which is, like 100000 times worse than that game, i mean jesus all they did was port a psp game that wasnt good to begin with, an 8, it makes no sense, while i think the score they gave the conduit might make sense, its just that, how on earth could they think that garbage is good when this game is sooooo much better than that

No one said it's amazing from what I've read. AND YES THE MULTIPLAYER IS AN IMPORTANT BREAKTHROUGH. It's the first Wii game to really give a good online experience.

Given the wii's limitations the conduit is a decent game. 7.5-8.0 should have been the score.
