Are there any games this gen that have better AI than FEAR?

I'm not knocking any game or holding FEAR up on a high pedastal. I'm just saying that FEAR had a very impressive AI system, and I haven't played any games that can compete with it. But, I haven't played every game this gen, so I'm probably wrong here. So, are there any games this gen with better AI than FEAR?

Halo Reach has some of the best AI this gen.

Both Killzones and both Resistance games have excellent AI. I can't say which games have better AI, but they are probably close.

Really? I didn't see that huge of a difference between its AI and other Halo's AI. Could be wrong though.

Yeah they were tough. They would take cover, run around to flank you, and would NEVER remain in one place. It could actually be pretty annoying sometimes at how much the run and hide.

Must say that FEAR AI is still amazing. Especially the dark assassin's move with such fluidity and intelligence, it's hard to imagine that the game's half a decade old already.

Plus reflex was fun as hell to use. Slow motion, pointblank shotgun blast to an enemie's face never gets old. Also, that's why I'm asking. Because FEAR's AI was so tough.

In fact, the AI is so challenging, I sometimes wonder why people keep asking ME to do stuff in that game when pretty much everybody else in the game is just as badass and capable as the player.

The alien AI was just ok.The human AI was just pathetic, it should't be called artificial intelligence but artificial idiocity. Overall Crysis 2 had some pretty bad AI.Not only it is supid in general but its full of glitches too (wen I played the game anyway, maybe its patched now).

FEAR was the best AI of the FPS.

Although the Stalker series had some impressive AI variants. Some of the creatures naturally behaving and interacting/fighting NPCs without the involvement of the payer was quite impressive.

Played Killzone 2, the AI wasn't what it's cracked up to be, though it wasn't bad by any stretch of the imagination.

F.E.A.R. 2's monsters have some pretty decent AI, Halo Reach haves the best AI I've seen in a console game right next to Killzone 2's AI. Also, Call Of Juarez haves some very agressive AI.

I haven't actually played the FEAR series, but both the killzone and resistance games this gen have some fantastic AI. esp. killzone.

Lower to mid difficulty has lobotomised AI, but the top difficultyareout right scary at times.

I... hmm... I can't really remember, TBH. :?

As I said, the AI was not bad at all, they were very good, but they weren't Stalker or FEAR level AI.

too bad the campaign on fear 2 was god awful.

Probably not. Vanquish had excellent AI though. They fought competently and some reacted to damage realistically. Masterpiece.
