[QUOTE="too_much_eslim"][QUOTE="SOedipus"]marvel vs capcom 3!SOedipus
isn't that only a dream?
unfortunately
dang it I was hoping you wasn't going to wake me up
I don't think they'll go so far as to make a come back, but I'm sure there will be some for this gen.Panzer_Zwei
I wish the entire dreamcast catalog of fighters came out on the PS3/360 with online play.
you can the new Guilty Gear on the ps2:Guilty Gear XX Accent CoremasoriI want online play. A ps 2 just willl not due. If Marvel vs. Capcom2 had online play, and was on the 360 I would be playing it endlessly.

Marvel vs. Capcom 2 was to be online for the Xbox, Capcom wanted it that way, but Marvel said no. The game was online only in Japan on the Dreamcast. But I think it's a certainty that devs like SNK, Capcom and Sammy will put their new 2D fighter's out on current gen systems. SNK already has some 360 ports like Battle Colosseum.
Guilty Gear for Wii and PS2
Bleach for Wii (think it has online)

I want a real fighting game with some depth to it so no to bleach.

Marvel is dumb. I didn't rebuy the game because it was no different from the dreamcast version.

That, a SOTN sequel (or any other 2D castlevania) and a 2D metroid would be it.

The Bleach games on the DS are made by Treasure though, and they're renown for the depth of their games.I don't know about this Wii one though.

I played the import of bleach on the ps 2. It is a fun game, but there is no move set. Street fighter is agreat example of 2d fighter with depth.
Konami is making it.:(MagnuzGuerraThe only genre where Konami has always lacked is fighters unfortunately. They made some awful ones on the PS and N64.
[QUOTE="MagnuzGuerra"] Konami is making it.:(Panzer_ZweiThe only genre where Konami has always lacked is fighters unfortunately. They made some awful ones on the PS and N64. Yeah, that's the problem. Konami fighters were average at best. I really tried to like G.A.S.P., but even Fighters Destiny was better.

I don't want to play the game with motion sensing, or any fighting games with it.

But, IMO, there's no chance for it to be a good fighter (konami expertise on fighters + wii-mote = tragedy).

I heard rumours about a sequel to this might be coming:
Panzer_Zwei
what is that, Fist of the North Star?

Yes, Hokuto no Ken for the Arcade/PS2.I see. It looks like an interesting anime. One day I will look at it. Well hope the rumors are true then.
Super Street Fighter Turbo HD Remix is coming out soon...
The problem with online play and 2d fighters is lag. in games where every frame of animation counts, the lag can kill the experience.
Oh, another Hokuto no Ken. I didn't play that version. Did they improve the gameplay (that's a very easy task from the SNES one)?I heard rumours about a sequel to this might be coming:

I don't see how for 2d fighters. If it can work for virtua fighter. tekken, and DOA it should work for all 2d fighters.Super Street Fighter Turbo HD Remix is coming out soon...

If you want a good 2D fighter with online, Bleach Blade of Fate for DS is a very good choice. You could import it and its sequel from Japan, or wait until October or November to pick up the US version.kholdstare61I am not a huge handheld gamer. I only buy handhelds for RPGs.

I made a promise to myself after playing the SNES one that I would never ever get near a Hokuto no Ken game again (it was a very bad fighter, even clayfighter was better  ). But, if it's made by Arc System Works, it's worth a check at least. :)
