as far as i'm aware netflix is a movie streaming service, whats that got to do with anything.. let me know what its like to spend 60$ on a new game and then have it taken offline after a few years for you to never play again..
As far as i'm aware, Netflix and OnLive happen to have a similar model. You dont have to buy games at $60. You can get access to a library of games for a small monthly fee. Much like Netflix. Once you stop paying, you lose access to the library.
By your logic, Netflix would also not have been a success due to how their model works. Its not that different than OnLive. If anything, Onlive has better options for pricing/plans. Netflix has quantity behind it. But even Netflix had to start somewhere.
