[QUOTE="V_Isle"] No. You're telling the 80-year old guy who plays Wii Bowling is suddenly gonna start playing Mass Effect or Elder Scrolls now? I doubt we'll see the soccer mom ditch Cooking Mama for World In Conflict or Far Cry 2.
Wii casuals have very small attention-spans for games. That's the whole idea. That's why you see the console full of shallow games, usually shovelware mini-game collections - that's all it takes to satiate their appetite.

So EVERY casual gamer is a soccer mom or old person?
Nice assumption.
How about the little kid that got a Wii for Christmas?
You mean to tell me none of those kids will grow up wanting to play your hardcore games?
Some parents bought a Wii because it was a family console, and refused to buy a console for their children, that wouldn't offer much to the family as a whole.
So without any console, some kids wouldn't even have a shot at gaming until a later age.
If anything, the Wii gets people interested in gaming quicker than the other consoles.
But seeing as your view is blinded, this won't mean anything to you.
You're opioion is bias as well as saying family only part wii for the family. where there is plenty of kids playing 360/PS3
