Are you a fan of Nintendo? (POLL)

Can't think of a topic more suited to System Wars.

Nintendo has been around for a while, does a lot of crazy things especially lately, and is reknown for being one of the best first party developers around. Critisisms include having too little third party support, although that seems to have changed with the 3DS. Are you a fan?

i havent like them in years. not sure why i bought a gamecube and wii. guess im hoping to be forever young

Nintendo makes the games I like the most, I guess that'd make me a fan :P

i play & like nintendo games since almost 20 years now but dont consider myself a fanboy

Love Nintendo, have since the NES. I've owned every one of their consoles, and most of the portables.

As for the Wii..love Nintendo games. Most of the third party stuff...not so much.

Indeed. I hold them to a higher standard than most people, and could probably be considered a bigger "sheep" than most sheep around here... given that I expect more from them than just sitting there eating whatever throw at me up and asking for more. But then again, that's what make them "sheep" I guess.

So call me a "Nintendo fan." I've been a Nintendo fan since the days of the SNES. I didn't get to experience the NES, but the SNES was essentially that but with better graphics and many better games, so I didn't miss much I think (aside from perhaps LoZII). Only with the Wii did they disappoint me and lead me into a state of perpetual scepticism. But then again, I still had a shred of faith left that theymight do something like make another DKC, or actually care about making games for the non-hardcore core audience.

But they still haven't made Metroid Dread, or announced another Super Mario RPG, or Star Fox, or F-Zero, or another 2D Mario sidescroller in the SMB3/Yoshi's Island vein (not this floaty, 2.5D NSMB crap)... so there's still a lot left for them to do for me to regain my full faith in them as a developer. But I'm still a fan of essentially everything they've done up until the GC/Wii generation.

When I started out on these forums I was a HUGE nintendo fanboy... And for the last few years that stopped, I turned around and started paying alot more attention to MS and Sony.. Now they are boring me, and Im back on the nintendo boat so to speak especially after this e3

I don't know a single gamer that isn't a fan of Nintendo. Only the people that barely play games, I find couldn't care less about Nintendo.

they're the best game devs in the world, the only problem is 3rd partys, though they're starting to fix that

Im a fan or all three first parties; Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo.

Nintendo moreso.

I was for the longest time. For the past couple years I've lost faith in them. They used to crank out great games all the time in the past, but now it's like they're not even trying. :(

Absolutely. When I think gaming I think Nintendo first. I've always stuck with them, even when times were bad.

Yup, I'm a fan. Outside Mass Effect 1 and 2, the only games I've enjoyed this gen have been on the Wii. If it wasn't for Nintendo, I would have quit gaming a while back.
