Me i'm no graphics whore i have a wii and i officaly stopped careing about which has better graphics PS3 or 360 when a stupid fanboy took a picture from the PS3 360 graphic comperison of Obelvion and started pointing out the dumbst details like look his robe has a differnt slik color on the PS3 verison and look the 360 has a deeper tree right there and he had the arrow pointed to a tree that was barely in the draw distince of the game

Depends, I'n first person shooter's I do care about the graphics because it adds alot to the immersion in that genre. In RTS and action adventure, I look more toward gameplay and could care less about how it looked.
great graphics are nothing without great or good gameplay. lets take NBAlive07 and NBA2k7 both look great..... NBAlive looks better but the gameplay is poor. i think if anyone plays both of these games 2k7 would come out on top 9 out of 10 times so again graphics are only a plus when its with good gameplay............... TC yes i am a graphics **** i will not play a game if i think it looks bad.
Good graphics that are visually stunning impress me. I wouldn't sacrifice gameplay value for eye candy, but if I had a choice between better graphics and worse graphics, I'd naturally choose good graphics.Â

I wouldn't say I'm a graphics whore. I do care about graphics to some extent but I agree that the kind of thing you described is taking it too far. I could get the most powerful PC hardware if I wanted to but the games I want to play matter a lot more, and they're on the consoles. Trying to keep up with all the most powerful hardware is not worth it IMO.
Not at all. If you need the smallest of details to be immersed in a game, then you must have little to no imagination. I like a dev that employs a creative art style, but the technical aspects of graphics aren't really important to me anymore.

I don't care about graphics either. If a game is fun, I'll play it.
