The PS4, Xbox 720, and Nintendo Buu are announced.
Will you buy one of them?
Personally, since most console games are Multiplat anymore, I think I'll stick with a PC next generation and let consoles do their own thing.

Yes I'm definitely buying the Nintendo Console (I can't go a whole gen without Nintendo titles I almost did it last gen but I got a GCN and it was my favorite console of all time.)
The other 2 it all depends on the games that are for it because on those consoles I like 3rd party more then 1st Party, Well for Sony I like 1st Party aswell and for Microsoft I barely played 1st Party titles.
Yup, I would buy Sony console (I would be in University, so I would only be able to afford one if I was lucky)

No I won't. I can put that money to much better use buying PC games and PC hardware.
Yeah, dunno about which one though, I guess I'll go nintendo since they'll have so much money until then that they might be able to afford 4d projection real spacealternate dimensionwhatever
Yes... eventually.
Will I be paying $400+ day one, rofl, hell no. I've never been that stupid nor wished to throw my money down the trash can that badly. Will I buy them at $300... probably not. I'll buy ONE of them once it reaches $250 or less. After that the other are gonna have to hit like $150 before i'll own two current gen systems. I love games but not enough to throw my money in a bonfire. The idea of spending $500+ (the price of buying 2 consoles before they get cheap) on gaming and not getting any actual games seems like an epic fail in my book.
Eventually, gonna wait till there is at least 3 games I want for each system before picking one up, and hopefully by that time there would have been a price drop.
How do you know when the next consoles are coming out? I hope the next consoles come out at the end of 2011 or sometime during 2012.Ya definitely! I might not buy the console at launch because of bad experiences with the 360. Of course I'll be 18 then and I'll be building my own PC and getting into more PC gaming as well as buying games for my PS4. :)

yes, and none of them better not be faultyPerfectcheatI am sure every company will be extra careful. They all know how big this gens RROD fiasco was.

Buu? Wasn't that a character from Dragon Ball Z/GT?
I might buy a new Nintendo console (how else am I gonna play SSB4?), although I'm not one to buy everything there is out there. I was quite content with my Gamecube years after the Wii's launch; I don't think I'll be quick to buy a Buu.

Yes but I think he said Nintendo Buu because it is pronounced Boo like Boo this sucks. But I'm definitely buying the next Nintendo Console how else will I play New Nintendo games on Consoles.nope, growing up fast like i be 25-26 when that happens. I probally quit

And where is it written that you HAVE to quit at 25? You DO realize that the statistical average age of a gamer is 30 years old, don't you? There are plenty of games for older players. As a field it has evolved to expand its content to all demographics. And I'm 37 and still actively play.
Why impose limitations on yourself? :)
No. The only way I will reconsider is if 3rd party exclusives are back and if the state on some genres are a lot better than they are currently.. Besides I don't really have much time to play video games now compared to when I was a teenager due to work and college..I really don't think that's going to change after I'm done with college.

Ouch. I never considered that. I didn't grow up with such controlling parents. And I'd like to advise you that at 25 (even at 19 for that matter) you could discuss with them that you're old enough to make your own choices about what you do for leisure activities (or most other things in your life). But it really isn't my place to get involved. At the very least when you move out on your own, you can pick up the hobby again with no one telling you what to do.
Most likely no. I learned my lesson this and the last gen. I had a ps2 but after 1-1,5 years it started collecting dust same now with a 360 after 1 year i havent used it for almost a year now.
I'll still be on a PC next generation, but if I've got 500 bucks or so to spend on a console, I'll get whichever one the new Halo's on :P.
