I guess I should probably include that I'll be getting it day one. But I don't expect many other SWers to do the same, seeing as Bethesda is not exactly universally loved around here.
oh hell no im not getting that.
no NPC's no story really, play with a bunch randoms who will just PK you and steal your loot like in GTA 5 online
im actual done with these kinda games they need stop coming out there terribad
that last option means you probably need to get laid, no offense
and yes of course I'll buy fallout 76, but not day one, still busy with fallout 4 vr
That's....not exactly the type of response I was expecting, lol. But since you took it there----> I'm (very happily) married. Soooooo yeah. ;)
I didn't even buy the proper Fallout games, let alone an online one.
I could've sworn I read in some thread before that you were a Fallout fan. Guess I have you confused with somebody else.
Right now I’m going to say yes but it will be a bit later on as there are some other games that I want to get first. This could change though depending on the reviews.
I love Fallout and can safely say Fallout 76 is exactly the kind of Fallout game I give absolutely zero fucks about. Bethesda totally on the ball once again.
No, and I don't think I'm going to even watch walkthrough videos of it. Maybe a little from time to time(mostly to hear from the commentary of my favorite YouTube gaming channel) but it doesn't seem to have much of a story to watch anyways.
I like Bethesda and their games, but why anyone would give them money for this broken shit product is beyond me.
Hope this game crashes and burns.
@enzyme36: Yeah, that's what I'm mostly excited about. An evolving wasteland with new elements appearing over time is what I've always wanted with Fallout. Hopefully enough people play and keep playing so that Bethesda supports 76 for a looong time.
Nope, I have Fallout 4 and have yet to play it, and i'm not a fan of MMO type games no matter who's making it.
I thought about it until the most recent scandal/exploit.
Apparently, Bethesda used the exact same Fallout engine with very little modification..............meaning that most of the Fallout 4 mods on Nexus work with little port effort..........................and those mods effect EVERYONE in the session.
Since it is inherent to the engine............will be very hard to fix. :/

And you'd have to interact with other humans, so you'd hate that.
This will go free to play in a year or two.
Every MMO type game that isn't WoW or Everquest has failed.
I didn’t like Elder Scrolls Online and this game looks worse.
I spent $30 on Elder Scrolls Online and even then I felt ripped off. It wasn’t the worst game in the world, but it felt...just bad I guess.
If this launched at $20 Canadian, I might impulse buy it, but I most likely never will buy it.
So NO.
I only got into the beta on the last day after receiving a key for it. I had been skeptical about the game so I never pre-ordered it but having played it, it was a lot more fun than I expected it to be and will be getting it day one. Now I just have to pester my friends to play it with me.

Didn't Elder Scrolls Online end up free to play? I swear all of these bad MMOs end up free to play, and it usually happens pretty fast. Just lol at anyone who spends money on them.
I played the B.E.T.A. and loved it. My biggest gripe was the 400lb limit to box storage- which allegedly was only implemented to cap what players to could amass in the beta. Wasteland w/ friends is something I've wanted for a long time, and it met or exceeded my expectations mostly. I will certainly be there day 1 to pick up my Power Armor edition and I will see the non-haters in the wasteland.
FO76 was designed for those who game online. It wasn't meant for (offline) SP gamers like me. I have no problems with it. I'll simply wait for their next SP FO.

Bethesda recently chimed in about the 400lb limit, saying that they are going to increase either at launch or a little bit after. They didn't say by how much, though. I'm hoping at least 1,000-2,000lb. Anything more than that would be great.
