Are you just swamped with games you haven't played ?

I find I am I mean I still haven't played ( or opened ) any of the god of war games I have, Haven't finished Valkyria Chroncles, Infamous, fallout 3, Zelda Spirit Tracks, Bad Company 2, Ugh I just feel theres so many good games out and so little time to play !

I have over 100 accumulated games in my backlog, half of which I have yet to touch.

Sometimes a simple hobby like gaming can turn into a uncontrollable obsession.

Plus, I preordered Red Dead Redemption (PS3) and will get Super Mario Galaxy 2 (Wii) and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker (PSP). So, I'm a little swamped but not too bad, especially considering that I don't see another game that I want until at least September.

I've got about 15 PC games, 4 Wii games, 5 360 games (and I don't own a 360) and about 6 PS3 games that I haven't played yet.

I like to have a certain number of games as backup, especially before summer when there are usually not that many new top releases. But right now I'm a bit overwhelmed as well.

I don't know about HAVEN'T PLAYED. But definitely a ton I'm not playing a lot.

Funnilly enough i have still managed to finish most of my games, even when i play through them multiple times.

Played? Not really. Completed? Well,

Tactics Ogre, Terra Phantastica, Eternal Arcadia, Wild Arms 3, Metal Gear Solid 4, and now Front Mission 2. There are more games that I'm probably forgetting or dont' plan to complete anyways.

Definitely swamped. Looking at two, soon to be three Wii games that need to be completed; two games for the Playstation 3 and a whopping six games for the 360. There are a couple of games on the PC I wouldn't mind finishing as well. For the time being though, the 360 will be getting my attention as that's far too many unfinished games.

just got Red Dead Redemption, that alone is going to keep me busy for the remainder of the year with the amount of challenges and missions to complete.

Then I have Shadow Complex(last weapon I got was the freeze/foam gun - don't know how far I am though), Dead Space(I'm on chapter 10 I think), & Mega Man 10(I have to kill Chill Man then off to Wily's Castle) to complete.

i got star fox adventure and star fox assault unplayed yet..

i just started mario sunshine today..

i bought paper mario for the n64 on VC and havnt started yet.

metroid trilogy.. i beat 1 and 2..im 11hours in prime 3.

new super mario bros wii i just need like 4 levels on star road to do.

i played like 5 hours of final fantasy 1 on nes on VC and havnt touched that in months..

Yes I am. And I'm continuing to buy new games. Most of my backlog consists of older PS2 RPGs and Wii titles, and for some reason I just never want to play them. I'm trying to set a schedule, but I've been failing miserably at that for some time now. Oh well. I'm more concerned about all the money I'm wasting as opposed to the backlog :lol:

Nah, I usually don't buy a new game until I'm currently done the one I'm playing. I only have Tekken 6 that I have yet to play since I got it in November but I got for free so I don't feel bad about not playing it

I'm slowly making my way through mine.

Working on Zelda: OoT, and X-Com: UFO Defense atm with a little bit of Gargoyle's Quest on the side.

But I have dozens of other games I still need to beat afterwards.

Yes, lol mainly pc games. Which is odd cuz I spend more time playing pc games than games on consoles but I hardly finish some of them. The one game in the last year I bought and tore straight through it was Alan Wake.

The big difference is that you can go back and play old games if they're single player games anytime you want in the future. The problem however is with online games, the community may die off over time, and then the servers die overtime, then you haveno game at all lol. I think since there's too many options nowdays, you have to pick and choose your experiences, well unless you only play game few hours at the time and start on your next game.
