Now I know that there may be many threads that post this all the time, but I couldn't resist...... this is easily one of the most impressive FPS I have ever seen exclusive to a CONSOLE!!!!........ now the key phrase in my last sentence was "exclusive to a CONSOLE"....... some of the best games shooters I have played are Bioshock, Call of Duty 4, Half Life 2 entire series (including episode 1 and 2, looking forward to 3), Portal (not really a shooter but fun and innovative), Rainbow Six Vegas(1,2), Gears of War (looking forward to 2) and the most visually captivating shooter ever Crysis(and Crysis Warhead)..... (IMO), played Resistance good game but wasn't really all that impressed but R2 looks sweet..... but KILLZONE 2.... with all the added multiplayer features being implemented in this game including 4 player split screen online co op with the experience on par graphically with the same quality as the single player?..... this game is easily on top of my wish-list early 2009..... note there are other great shooters coming out with the likes of Fallout 3(not really a full FPS but with the RPG elements looks like a unique experience), Far Cry 2, Gears of War 2(again not a FPS but a shooter nonetheless) and Resistance 2 the competition is TIGHT to say the least...... but KILLZONE 2 (IMO) is the most anticipated shooter ever :D...... once they get or have a captivating storyline experience there maybe no stopping this game to be the best FPS ever.........the fact that people are even comparing this to Crysis (graphically) and COD 4 (multiplayer) is amazing..... now remember that the PC will always beat the Console in terms of scalability and graphics, but what they achieved with this game is just extraordinary........ the PS3 is really starting to show it's true colours and one can't deny that Sony's console is easily now on par or even surpasses the competition, even though they support their respective purchases.....;) (what do u guys think honestly?)

Looks pretty good? Are you kidding me, this game looks amazing. I have never seen a game on any console today that even comes remotely close to looking that good. But its not just the look that is awesome, its also the gameplay that looks awesome. This is the first FPS this gen that will have a unique cover system (Yeah i know PDZ had one but it sucked really bad. I dont see any reason why anybody isnt hyping this game right now, I mean not only is it gonna be the best looking console game to come out so far this gen but it will most possibly get GOTY next year as well.

yes but the hype is ridiculous every day 20 threads about KZ2 a succsessor to a flop. Does it mean it will flop also no. But then poeple think they can say it has great gameplay when they haven't even played it is ridiculous. Yeah I hype Gears for good reason it's the succsessor to a AAA GOTY.. and I hope it's not crap for the Cows sake but dam give it a rest , it's been 3 years if this game flops there may be no cows on this forum anymore and they will all deserve the ownage they get.

I liked Too Human, if you haven't played it you should, reviews aren't everything. I decide if a game is good after I play it, I don't take someone else's opinon (even a 'professional') as the truth without forming my own.

I am looking forward to KZ 2 as well, but I feel the need to clear something up here. Killzone 1 was a real life flop, Fable 1 was one of those silly SW flops. Fable sold 3+ mil copies and was critically acclaimed by many places and even won some GOTY awards.

I'm pretty sure it was hyped at least AA if not AAA. KZ1 was borderline good to mediocre to me. Graphics were good, reloading was bad, gameplay was meh, only guy I found that I could possibly enjoy was the machine gun guy, but story was one of the better aspects. It was a flop due to the hype and the score it got, which I think it deserved or even worse.

I didn't say it was a bad game, it is just that he compared Killzone (6.9 GS) to Fable (8.6 GS) and while here in SW they are both technically flops, one was a much better game than the other.

Do everyone a favor and choke on your own "advice". You are doing the same thing for almost every ps3 related thread so cram it. Aside from that, I find it a little hard to believe myself. Am I excited to give it a whirl after watching vids; You bet, but Im not drooling over it. I personally cant wait to "play it" instead of just being interested in vids myself. Who knows, it might be decent.

Yeah I know, I was just addressing the flop issue. I'm actually very interested in KZ2. It's looking to be shaping up into a pretty good game and most of what pissed me off in the first game seems to be improved (such as reloading issue and class issue).

I'm pretty sure it was hyped at least AA if not AAA. KZ1 was borderline good to mediocre to me. Graphics were good, reloading was bad, gameplay was meh, only guy I found that I could possibly enjoy was the machine gun guy, but story was one of the better aspects. It was a flop due to the hype and the score it got, which I think it deserved or even worse.

Yeah I know, I was just addressing the flop issue. I'm actually very interested in KZ2. It's looking to be shaping up into a pretty good game and most of what pissed me off in the first game seems to be improved (such as reloading issue and class issue).

yeah also the added multiplayer features plus 4 player split screen onlie co op.... a feature that is hardly used anymore in today's multiplayer games with the exception of Halo 3 and COD 4(not online co op though)

Can you name a few?.... there is no game exclusive to the 360 that comes close to this game in terms of gameplay and graphics wise

Well first of all you know NOTHING about the gameplay .. well because YOU HAVE NOT PLAYED THE GAME :roll: and the graphics they are good but not all that. Maybe if they had some textures and not everything was a blur you might have a case but you don't

did you watch the links?..... i think you didn't.... and yes in terms of gameplay there are no exclusive FPS on the 360 to come close... you a are clearly a blind 360 fan boy..... no i haven' t palyed the game but logic can tell you it will be awsome....

I am looking forward to KZ 2 as well, but I feel the need to clear something up here. Killzone 1 was a real life flop, Fable 1 was one of those silly SW flops. Fable sold 3+ mil copies and was critically acclaimed by many places and even won some GOTY awards.
