I've been a gamer for at least the past 20 years now and during my time I've owned almost every single home console at one point or another, but NEVER at the same time. This gen I started off eagerly awaiting the arrival of the PS3 since the past decade molded me into a Playstation fan, but as the time went on I got antsy and purchased a 360. Over the past year I have grown VERY fond of Microsoft's console and would say thus far it is my favorite home console to date considering the amount of fun and options I have with it. I went so far as to denounce the PS3 seeing no need to own one since the 360 covered MOST of my gaming needs.
As time went on I picked up a Wii (Mainly for my fiance, but I play it more now considering I just got Manhunt 2 and Resident Evil UC) and FINALLY Christmas day I received a PS3. Completeing the trifecta of home console ownership. Now I have had extensive playtime on all three and have grown to enjoy each one for their pros and complaining about each one of there cons. I have seen the ins and outs, what htey do and what they don't and conclude I STILL prefer the 360 as my favorite, but have a respect for the others and receive ample enjoyment from them as well. Which brings me to my question. As a multiple console owner do you feel overwhelmed sometimes? I mean I have at LEAST 2 games per console and at least 2 games at all times I WANT to play for each with more popping up everyday. I'm the type of gamer who REALLY likes to focus on one game at a time and see it through to completion and feel like I get lost if I play other games at the same time or lose interest in the story. Does anyone else feel like this? Do you feel like perhaps having ALL three is a bit too much? Or feel like by the time you get around to playing all the games you want for all the consoles it'll be time for the next gen to start?
