Are you playing or replaying any old classic games currently?

Started Replaying Final Fantasy XII all over again today. Going with Penelo,Ashe and Fran ( all Girl team and New Offenssive Gambit set up ) to beat FF XII for a change this time without Vaan,Balthier,Basch.Never was able to defeat Yiazmat in past, will try to defeat it now lol.Will do more side quests, acqiure Zodiac Spear and Omega weapons which i missed collecting on first playthrough.

The Dead Space 1,2,3..........very good games.I hope we will see and Dead Space 4.

Oh Lets see, River City Ransom, Megaman 3, System Shock 2 (due to all things SS coming), About to sit down to replay Quake, and Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth.

Mass effect 1,2,3. Currently on 3 and Ill see if I hate the ending as much as everyone else. Games are really good but drag on in parts. Playing them to get really for ME:A

Oldest game I've played recently is Doom 3 on the PS3.

Playing Final Fantasy XIII for the first time.

Not older than last gen. Uncharted 1 just completed and Uncharted 2 is next in line.

I started playing Geist on Gamecube again. I never did finish it, so I'm starting over. It's a game Nintendo should consider taking another look at. It has some great ideas, but the execution needs work.

I'm playing Sonic Colors for the third time; I never finished it when it came out, though.

This time I'm playing it in 4k@60fps, using an emulator obviously. It looks VERY cool :D

I'm almost always on Mario 64 and Wave Race 64. Recently started Mario World. Forgot how great that game is.

I'm playing Grand Theft Auto Vice City again and also for the first time GTA Vice City Stories. Also I recently finished GTA III and GTA Liberty City Stories.

Classics are what I play most of the time. I beat TP two days ago, and I'm probably going to move on to FFVI or Grandia II as my next long game.

Yes, actually I'm always playing retro 8-16 bit games but the more recent one I replayed was Prey with the sikkmod. Such a great game. I started to replay Omikron but just couldn't get into it. I also have SoulReaver 2 waiting for me, I really need to get it installed.

All I really play are old games these days.

If you've never played Little Big Adventure 2 before, then you should try it out. It's a great old game!

@primorandomguy: I like it so far. It feels more linear than some of the older FF games, but I'm only on the 3rd chapter. Admittedly, I haven't played a FF game in a while. It's different, that's for sure. I'm usually the guy that likes games that get a lot of hate on message boards though, so not a surprise I'm enjoying this one so far.

@itstotallymike: it's so good! I love the story and most of the characters, i love the over dramatized melodrama. I love the combat, the soundtrack is good too. I just really enjoyed it too. Lol

Replayed Thief 2: The Metal Age. A true masterpiece, that is very close to my heart.

Final Fantasy 4....

Its really slow at work so I've been playing GOG games that don't need a 3d video card. Just finished Divine Divinity (fun game!) and Arcanum, about to start Heroes of Might&Magic III.

On console, I went for 1000 GS on Kingdons of Amalur. It is a loooong game if you do that, but very fun, great combat. It reminded me of WoW if it was a single player game.

@primorandomguy: Did you play XIII-2 and Lightning Returns? If so, how were they? I have them in my library. One thing good about all the hate is that I was able to get them all pretty cheap!

Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D. I have to be honest, I've always talked crap on this game, because when I first played the original version, it was after Wind Waker, and just couldn't get into it, and actually kinda hated it. But playing it this time, I'm having so much fun with it.

I don't know what's different this time, because I even tried playing the 3DS version when it first came out, and even that time I couldn't get into it, but I don't know why, this time though I'm loving the game so much, it's great and I don't know why I was unable to see how good it was for all these years.

i have been replaying knights of the old republic 2 on and off since they released a linux build. i only ever saw the original ending so now im playing it with the restored content mod.

still excellent. not a typical star wars story but a good'n none the less.

Bought a bunch of the older FF's in the Steam SE sale, so i've been working on getting FF8 to work with a freakin' Xbone controller (no small task). Think i've finally done it, so gonna be replaying some FF8 goodness.

@itstotallymike: I played XIII-2, thought it was awful. It like ruined everything good about XIII, you may still like it though. I never played LR.

XIII-2 is best in the trilogy. It follows the story of Sera ( Lightnings Sister ) and a Warrior Noel in saving Lightning. Its Best as as third party you get to capture any monsters,m upgrade them and aid you in fights. Lighting Returns is time based ( Like dead rising ), you've to do everything very quickly ( Side missions for goodies ) and main missions before god destroys earth. No rest in Lightning Returns Heh, you always've to be always on the move lol. If you delay , you 've to meet pretty OP bosses lol. Then finally Game Over HeHe. Combat is pretty slick tho :)
