Are you unsatisfied with Wii's graphics?

Face it the Wii's graphics are nothing to drool over by no means, But is that what you were reallyexpecting?

I personally was more excited about the motion sensing controls more than anything. Plus the ability in the future to play almost every Nintendo game createdare the highlightsfor the Wii to me.

I'm not unsatisfied with games like MP3, SSBB, SMG, FFCC:CB, Dewy's Adventure, Zack and Wiki, etc.

But I wish 3rd parties would stop being so lazy.

I'm disapointed with how little of hte wii's power is being put to use at the moment, I'm not however, disapointed with what I've seen it do.kittykatz5k

Yeah, worth mentioning. Wii can surpass last gen graphics, devs just haven't fully utilized its hardware yet. Example: Ninja Gaiden and Riddick were gorgeous, and Wii can surpass them.

I dunno the Resident Evil rail game could be fun but I still think paying full price for that type of games i over priced as with all the casual games which should be $20.

Agreed, PS2 standards are disgusting. There's a Gamecube launch game that still nukes everything on Wii (Rogue Leader).

Talking about wii's graphics in NEXT-GEN. consoles is unsatisfying. If you compare wii to other consoles you really see the gap on it and you will not be satisfied.

But talking about it as a video game console, its great. I mean motion-sensing games + multiplayer (four friends or online) is a lot of fun!

I have an N64 and we all having fun with it with my friends from the past 6 years. How much more the wii now?

Im satisfied with TP graphics, RE4 graphics and what Ive seen so far from MP3. Im not satisfied with (for example), Splinter Cell: Double Agent, Farcry Vengeance, Red Steel and the other games that get neglected graphics-wise.

So Im satisfied with the Wii's capabilities. But Im quite often dissapointed with what the developers develop.

Metroid Prime 3: Corruption

If it's suppose to be a step above the Xbox; then yes I would expect it to show. I care about gameplay just as much as anyone else, but the extra power (such as PC/360/PS3 systems) lowers the restrictions. When I would play a multi-plat game on my PS2 vs. my Gamecube/Xbox; there's a noticeable difference. Not just in looks but the framerate was smoother, and there was very few anti-alaising. Of course stellar graphics aren't needed to make a game great but it sure makes the experience that much sweeter.

It's what I was expecting, which is 7th gen initially. I do expect better in a year or two.

That said, I have been pretty much happy with the graphical representations in games since I first saw Rogue Leader for GC, anything more realistic than that is just icing on the cake for me (not neccessary for me to enjoy any more than I do).

I can tell you those graphics make SC: DA on the Wii look good. :?

Can't say I'm satisfied with them. But again that's not the reason why you'd buy one. The rush of games needs to be swutched with some quality overhauls.

Well, no, it doesn't bother me. But were getting past that transitional period soon for third party devs. So we should see a lot less ports and quickly made games.goblaa

They knew their position when the Wii was first announced so i don't blame them they didn't make the Wii a hardware monster full of features and realistic graphics. But i am a little disappointed that from a technical standpoint that RE4: Wii Edition is the best looking game on the system so far which i already saw on the GameCube two years ago.

If Metroid Prime, Resi 4 and Rebel Strike on the cube was the standard then it would be fine. Shame the standard is PS2 level, you have to account for the average Wii game not just a tiny number of 1st party stuff at the top of the pyramid.

Why would I? I played N64, Gamecube and never had a problem with them, and the Wii is stronger than both. I'd really like to see devs use that power, but SMG, SSBB, and MP:C are far from ugly.

For $250 i wasn't excpecting much graphic wise. I really just wanted to try out the motion sensing controls. I paid $600 for my PS3 and was excpecting better graphic than my Xbox 360 but that didn't happen. I thought for $200 more the PS3 was going to blow away the 360.
