Arkham City wins PC Platform GOTY! No PC Exclusive Win?

Well, the narration on the video did say the PC version of Batman: AC is something the console versions can't touch.

Batman AC on PC is pretty good, but i wouldnt put it above Witcher 2 or BF3 multiplayer

Well performance is also a major difference. Nevermind no jaggies, or screen tearing, or blury pixelated graphics. Nevermind an updated lighting engine, tessellation and Physx on PC.

It runs at 60 FPS. It makes the controls and combat feel a LOT tighter, the whole gameplay feels better.

Well, I thought it was mighty nice of them to say that considering GT is a console-oriented site. I don't think having it as a multiplat matters because this is a great year for multiplats. It's not like exclusives on consoles are having a field day either. I think it's multiplats that are picking the lion's share of awards.

I'll never understand how if a multiplatform game wins GOTY that consolites will somehow try to spin it to be a win for consoles. Especially when the people who voted it GOTY keep reiterating that the PC version is better than the console versions.

Its a great year for multiplats except on PS3, and not because the exclusives on PS3 are better than the multiplats, that is definately not the case. The only reason a multiplat didnt win GOTY for PS3 is because multiplats suck ass on PS3 compared to other platforms, as we are all fully aware, so they will have to settle for something that doesnt blow in comparison to the multiplat quality on other systems and that only leaves the exclusives.

Besides Batman Arkham City on PC >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> the console version. If the console version of Arkham City was as good as it is on the PC then it would more than likely be goty for both the 360 and PS3 aswell.

Why does it matter exclusive or not, Batman AC deserves any accolade it gets on any platform it's on. :)

There was really nothing better I played on PC, or consoles) than Arkham City anyways, but platform specific awards should only inlcude exclusive to that platform.
