New trailer
Well, this footage has made me far more hyped up now :D
I just hope that they don't mess it up. I'm still not sold on the Batmobile yet though...

I'll be right back.....
sorry had to go clean myself off. That was beautiful. Looks polished as hell. Now lets all pray that it's not a glitchfest.
It seems the footage is from the Xbone, or the PC with X360/Xbone controller.
BTW: dat armor.
Not very observant. That video shows triangle and square button prompts.

The XB1 has a square button? The whole trailer is littered with DS4 prompts..... And you're a games writer LOL

I could've sworn at some point I saw LT prompt, and "X" prompt looked like an Xbone prompt... but upon zooming yeah, it is a PS4 version, I've figured it out by now. Anyway, that Gameinformer video is choppy when you go full screen.

Look, man, I've already justified myself.
I had the video window minimized the entire time because it went choppy as hell once I activated full screen. Up to that point I've seen "X" prompt which looked identical to Xbox's "X" button logo. And later on, I've seen some symbol resembling "LT".
Why are you acting so aggressively towards me?
Looks good, but definitely won't top Uncharted 4
Don't compare games like Batman to shit movies like UC.
@Salt_The_Fries: It has PlayStation button prompts during gameplay
The reason I was mistaken is that once I initially activated the video in HD, it went laggy and choppy as hell, especially in full-screen mode. The first time I actually saw ANY prompts was at the exact moment when there was an "X" prompt which looked identical to Xbone's "X" button (as I remember its representation from previous Arkham games), I've realized my mistake immediately upon watching it again.
@Salt_The_Fries: It's probably the PC version using DS4 prompts liek at E3.
But that was expected honestly. Not to worry, the game will look amazing on all platforms. Rocksteady is a great studio.
I want this in my veins
I hate to say it... but almost nothing has changed except for that "next-gen polish". If they were trying to show something substantially "new" for the series in that footage, they mostly failed. All I can hope is that it's up to par with Arkham City in terms of layout, design and replayability.
This is definitely going to be one of those "wait till the GOTY Edition comes out" games.
It's probably the PC version with PS4 button prompts. The video is also in the PC section of Game Informer.
But it doesn't matter. The game looks like it'll be fun. I'm looking forward to the next two videos :)
On a technical level it looks amazing, but I'm not seeing like a genuine big improvement for this series. Arkham Origins was pretty dull in spots for its "more fucking arkham nature", and this looks like the only real new addition is the Batmobile, which is a fucking hover tank....with Batman, who doesn't use guns sans rare fucking cases.
Regardless the things that make Asylum and City legit, and Origins not legit are things like pacing and encounter designs, and you can't get that from a trailer. Genuinely excited for this.
Is it just me or the game has that very UE3 look? I don't know but the game screams that it's made in UE3.
This is looking great. 2015 is way too packed.
There's still 2 more gameplay videos to be shown for this.. One on December 1 and the other at the keynote at Playstation Experience.
i dont like the green hue, hopefully the game is more vibrant this looks a lot like the original game. combat looks same as arkham city but with the batman car added. i will wait for the game of year edition, looks great though
@jg4xchamp: I think it's a custom UE3 they are developing the game with.
That's correct. The game runs on a modified UE3 engine.

That can be literally said for a lot of things though...
take Smash wii U for example, how much different is it really than all the other games out before it other than looking a little more pretty?
How about bayonetta 2 when compared to the first one? How about Mario Kart 8?
A lot of times games within a series do tend to behave similarly which is expected because it's why people like the games in the first place and devs are scared from changing things up too much.
The only way to really shake things up is if they had made the game very different by switching up its genre like how fallout 3 was drastically different from the earlier ones or how mario 64 and ocarina of time were drastically different than the ones before. But that was due to the fact that there was a major change in the industry at the time with the 3D games replacing 2D side scrolling ones.
Looking forward to getting this on the PC. It's the only current gen console game I've truly been looking forward to.

I don't think Arkham has to bring anything substantially new. It already has the best combat and mission design in the genre, so what do you want?
