Something about this game has major flop written all over it.. its wierd because when i watch gameplay vids of Too human i feel the same way i use to when i watched Gameplay vids of Lair, just something about it looks like it will be a major flop and i cant quite explain what it is.. Sure Silicon Knights are alright devs, but then again Factor 5 was also.. I really see Too Human being the Lair of 2008, I dont quite think it will score as low as lair but I easily see it scoring a 6.5 and MAYBE a 7.0 and even thats being generous.. and no this is not a 360 bashing thread. I love my 360 and think its by far the Greatest console this gen and one of the greatest consoles ever made.. Im talking strickly the game alone, Too Human looks like its going to flop hard
I really don't know. I think this game will either do really good, or just completely suck. All of the delays and problems don't make it look so hot. Impex

what i meant was, i think its going to turn out to be really hyped a month or so before it comes out and flopping hard when it does come out. This game looked bad from day 1 and dont think im defending Lair either. I thought Lair looked like pure garbage the moment i saw it also

True. I mean, the game was supposed to come out on the Playstation, wasn't it? Now that they have the technical power to get it out in the hands of consumers, all of that crap had to happen. I'd rather them take another year and polish it up than rush it. I'll have enough to play in '08 as it is.

lair wasnt bad it justhad horrible contols and a few glithshee and there. and another thing lair was hyped to high heavens, too human will notbe hyped like lair.

Yea, it wont sell well at all. I personally think online coop is highly overrated.. I want full online multiplayer like Team deathmatch and CTF type stuff, online coop makes the game way too easy. Thats why i also think Army of two looks like Garbage, its all about Coop

no it was supposed to be a gamecube exclusive. But when they found out about wii's hardware they jumped ship.

its a single player game, and not everything needs its multiplayer to be deathmatch.
THe fact that the game has a very good online feature adds to the value.
There are a bunch of games that are just single player that OWN THE SNOT out of some of these muliplayer heavy games.
Zelda, God of War, Ninja Gaiden, Devil May Cry, Final Fantasy, Baldurs Gate 2, System SHock 2, Deus Ex, etc
Besides COOP is a blast. 4 player online Coop in Halo 3. IS AWESOME.
Online Coop for Gears of war actually made that stupid single player fun.
COOP is a great feature. Honestly i dont understand how that feature is overrated.
Too Human on the other hand has flaws everyone is aware of, its more hope than hype.
Personaly, I am looking forward to Too Human even though I know it won't score well. Its story andcustomization optionsis enough for me to keep interest.
To me it looks like a great game. The gameplay will be nothing special but quite fun. And the presentation at this point looks to be out of sight. Story, graphics and atmosphere all seem spot on. In these ways I think it will turn out a lot like Fable.
i dont remember too many people hyping too human. it got ripped to shreds by the press after e3, then it pretty mch vanished off the face of the earth until a few months ago. im just saying that most of buzz around this game has been negative. i think they,ve made a lot of progress with the game and it looks alot better now. heard they might release a demo b4 the game releases, it,d be nice to try b4 you buy.
From recent videos, it will definitely flop. Gameplay videos of it make it look very average. Absolutely nothing about the game stands out at this point.
All hating on too human are from cows beeing afraid of the 360 getting another awsome game.

Silicon knights is an innovative and high quality developer. They will deliver a high quality product. Simple as that. Too human will score somewhere between 8,0 and 9,5. A lower score would be a big suprise.

You compare a crap game like Lair to a action/RPG like Too Human ? That is a AAAA game already to me, has a host of unique armors and items like diablo, classes to choose from, eerie setting and mythology behind it
hahahahahaha, Too Human will not be anything like Lair, will probably be AAA
Aye, I don't think many have high hopes for Too Human though, so it won't have quite the sting Lair did.
The two schools of thought seem to be that it'll either be fantastic, or utterly terrible. I fall into the latter group, although I would very much like to be disproven, but all the problems with its development make me think that shan't happen.
