As a hardcore Lemming (Cowshemming, really), I can say that GeOW is overrated..

...But I find myself playing this game all the time online.

Even tho, it's worse than Halo 2 as far as community goes. Lot's of kids, lots of ignorant people, and swearing. But it's very addicting. I just wish the game had more life to it. Maybe a better story, longer SP, and a more robust Online structure. Sure graphics are great, and the gameplay, even tho it resembles kill.switch, is great too.

If I was a pro reviewer, I'd rate it 9.0/10

Not a bad game by any means, but as a half Lemming, I think other Lemmings are overhyping this game a little too much.

I think it is.  They basically simplified it back to what Mechassault and some of the original xbox games were like. 

For some reason I never really dug Halo 2's online setup that much, though I know that I am in the minority.

I love Gears online.  My only complaint is that some maps seem so much more enjoyable than others.  There's 3-4 maps I play all the time and 2-3 that I only play sometimes, and the rest I just don't go near.
