I must say..things are really turning around for the ps3. the new 40gb model is selling excellent. with games like call of duty,haze,uncharted,possible unreal tournament 3 and already awesome games like ratchet and clank,eye of judgement and warhawk (just to name a few) coming soon or out things are finally looking up. lets hope this trend continues. lets be real with each other. sony has come up short with some of the things they said we'd have but nonetheless its Sony. sooner or later they will deliver,and deliver they will. let us enjoy this turn-around. all it means is better games for us. the GAMERS. thoughts?
I agree whole-heartedly agree. I've NEVER doubted the PS3, because the PS1/PS2 just dominated too much, and when the JRPG's and the Action Adventure games start coming in, my Halo 3 days (sadly :( I love Halo 3) might be over.
I've seen fewer PS3's 40 GB models than the others at my Best Buy. Sure... but we can't say our experience is the majority or even accounting a large part of something going on nationwide...
I'll have more comments when I see sales charts... as for now... it could be our cities.
Firstly, punctuation and paragraphing are your friends. They both make it much easier to read posts. Secondly, a single Gamestop selling PS3s is hardly representative of the market in general - let's wait for sales numbers.

Hey, my buddy is a manager at GS. He sang in front of all the other managers (5000+) during a Gamestop Conference Rock Band performance...if you are really a manager, how did he do, what meal time did he sing at (Break, lunch, Din), and what song did he sing?

newsflash there's always surges in buying stuff, there's a surge during holidays there's a surge when the dang thing comes out there's a surge when everybody wants to play a certain game, if there were no surges then you might as well cut off 30-40% of all sales for anything

As the price for the PS3 comes down, and more games release, it's definitely going to reach more sales. I'm personally planning on finally purchasing one next year -- mainly for Killzone 2 and MGS4.
However, does anyone honestly believe it'll reach the top, going against the momentum and sales of the Wii and 360?

i'm not saying ps3 is bad, it's just funny that this kid is a low level clerk (if he works at GS at all, not that it's even a good job just min. wage) trying to get authoritative because his friends bash his console.
If he really was a mgr he would give us his name and store number so I could call and find out that nobody by that name works there LOL!
