As a PS3 owner, I agree: Mass Effect 2 > Uncharted 2

All I'm playing is the demo and even that alone has consumed hours of my life. Good thing is that I get to play both lol.

The demo includes a "previously on.." trailer, I believe it introduces Saren and the reapers.

I wasn't talking about the comic, I was talking about this. It's in the demo(on every platform). But I was wrong. It doesn't even mention Saren or anything like that. It's just about the reapers.

The aiming did feel really clunky compared to Uncharted 2 and Vanquish. The auto targeting is pretty lame as well. I'll have to check to see if I can turn that off

I like both a lot but personally i do prefer uncharted its more my kinda thing tbh.Uncharted is more my cup of tea and more my type of game in a sense.

I played the uncharted demo and I think ME2 is far superior...

The dude had 3 different criminal factions trying to kill him.

He was personally selected by the Illusive man to be on that suicide mission and EVERYBODY on that team is a badass.Even Jacob.

I liked Mass Effect 2 more but I don't think it's better. They both happen to be excellent games. But I like the Mass Effect universe probably more than anything this gen.

Can't say i agree.

I found ME2 boring, like really boring and I only got two hours in.

i find U2 a lot better than ME2.

I've only played Mass Effect 1 on PC

I'd say Uncharted:Drakes Fortune was better thasn it but I can't make a comparison beetween part 2 of each series untill the end of this month/ middle of next.

i think they are really hard to compare. sure, they both can be considered third person shooters. but ME2 is quite a bit less linear, and has rpg elements. i would say that UC2 controls are quite a bit tighter. at the core, UC2 (at least single player) is meant to be an action packed, almost blockbuster film-type experience. ME2, while having some epic moments, is more about dialog, some action, some rpg, and kind of "creating" a character.

Mass effect 2 is too slow for my liking on consoles

I preffer Uncharted 2 over Mass Effect 2 also. As some people stated ME2 seemed to drag in some portions,the planet scanning felt cheap and was a chore to do in order to get materials, personally I felt it was just tacked on in order to increase its longevity, halfway through the game i stopped scanning them all together. I'am also disappointed in the customization portion which was found in Mass Effect but lacked in Mass Effect 2. To me one of the better features found in ME was customization of the guns in various ways the add ons and ammo type,the same as the armor as well with the different traits and abilities being socketed. I do prefer the acquistion of skills in ME2 over the first one, but like i said the lack of customization really killed it for me. I do look forward to how each game improves from the previous installment, 2011 is gonna be a good year.

As a PS3 owner.. I disagree! One of the few things ME had going for it was the universe and even with that bioware decided to limit your exploration..... almost to the point of corridor shooter and they also removed scouting around planets on the mako instead of making it better..
