as a ps3 owner, I will never buy an ubisoft game again...EVER

as some of you know, the ps3 version of vegas2 is riddled with problems. be it the boot back to the dashboard problem or the gunfire sound effect glitch, this game has so many bugs an exterminator couldn't save it. sad thing is, both those examples were in the first vegas on ps3. also, it would be great if I could play co op TH or campaign. good thing ubi's netcode is god awful. it won't list a single game. hell, the first week this was out you couldn't join a normal match, deathmatch or otherwise.

its obvious that ubi sees us ps3 owners as second class citizens. be it the AWFUL port of double agent which was borderline unplayable due to horrible framerate issues or the ps3 version of AC, their ports are unacceptable. vegas2 is going back pronto.

I don't except much from a franchise that has release a new game almost every year for the last six years or so.

What number R6 is this? It is one of the most rehashed games out there IMO.

It is cool for people who just love the tactical shooter action it provides, but for those who prefer other MP games its just more of the same.

That would ruin me I'm a huge Ubi fan.

The only problem I had with it was I got robbed of my 75 achievement points for beating the game on the hardest difficulty setting but who cares about that?

This doesn't sound like a boycott so much as a decesion to not buy a game that the tc knows he isn't going to like. If Ubisoft is getting a bad track record for not being able to develope for the PS3 than why would a PS3 owner buy their games?

I did not play the game on the Wii but Prince of Persia was such a great game. I played the first new one from last generation on my 360 BC again not to long ago and the qality was just top notch. The naration and presentation is great.

It makes me sad to see Ubi-soft go this route.

The 360 exclusive Naruto is an amazing and quality game though. I don't like anime and had never watched an episode of Naruto, either.

Ubisoft is master of the garbage port. I've believed this since last gen when they claimed their port of Splinter Cell 1 was pushing the PS2 to its limits. Yet if you took out the lighting effects the game looked like an early PS1 title. Worst port I've ever seen in terms of graphics, and other PS2 games looked much better...yet Ubisoft claimed they were maxing out the console.

UbiSoft isn't developing HAZE. Free Radical is. UbiSoft does the testing of the game and publishing. It's up to Free Radical to make sure they have a smooth online before marking the game as "complete".

ughh pop 2 warrior within had so many bugs in the gamethat made the game almost unplayable.

Once again, it's not the game devs, it's the hardware. I've seen other PS3 owners saying things like "I will never buy EA products again because we only get 30 frames" and "I will never buy Capcom products again because of 5 gig installations" etc. You just have to open your eyes that the problem isn't these individual game devs, it's just the overall PS3 hardware.

While we're talking about RSV2, am I the only one terribly unimpressed with the graphics? I mean really, there isnt a whole lot to be desired in this game graphically.

COD4 pretty much stole me away from this game anyway. I got the first Vegas for my 360, I liked it pretty good. But COD4 ruined any potential I had of buying this game until it comes down in price.

It's the devs. Naughty Dog can do it. Infinity Ward can do it. Ubisoft could do it.
