As a sheep, I'm starting to have a hard time taking the other fanboys seriously

I mean lets face it guys, the Wii is dominating and is all but assured victory this gen. Being a sheep, I'm now at the top of the food chain and I guess its made me take everybody else less seriously. I kind of laugh at the threads Cows and Lemmings start when they try to make fun of Wii. Their jealousy is so transparent.

LOL. I agree that Wii will probably dominate this year. But I will also agree that it winning becuase of the value. I rather be playing GOOD games on a more expensive consolet hen buy a 250$ console with few games.hoankiemdinh

Yes I know, but those games don't really appeal to me. I dont like to generalize it but most of Wii's game are very Casual to me and yes I know my sigs say Halo 3, but yeah I just don't like some type of Wii games. I like blood and gore in my games. Gears of  War, God of War II, etc. I don't prefer Wario Ware and SSX Blur or those type of games.

 8 - 8.5 = can play but not all

 8.5 - 8.9 = good 

 9.0 + = usually pretty good

 (there are some exceptions of course, reviewers are not perfect)

I think it's just pure jealousy. The Wii isn't supposed to be in direct competition with their favorite systems, but they can't handle the fact that the Wii is killing right now in sales. They can continue to bash it all they want, but they know in the backs of their minds that the system with the most consoles sold will eventually get the most games. The Wii is headed down that path right now with all the games being announced and released for it. The lineup this first year looks better than the 360's lineup for its first year. Just wait cause more will come.Zhengi

That is completely untrue. There are tons of games that got less than 8.0 that are the opposite of "crap".

If the PS3 is going to last for 10+ years, then that means that both Microsoft and Nintendo will be putting out new systems half way through its lifecycle that will both have better graphics then the PS3, and the PS3 will be like the current Wii.

You must be new here. Sales never mattered, its always about how many AAA games a console has.  PS2 didn't win last gen because it had the most sales, it won because it had the most quality games.  Right now, the Wii isn't winning.

Obviously they would release a PS4 in around 5 years, but PS3 will keep selling.

Just like PS1 kept selling for 5 years after PS2 launched, just like PS2 is still selling at a high rate even after PS3 has launched.

Console gens overlap, that's just how it works, even more so with PS products BTW.
