As a Wii Hater, I gotta admit...

I'll probably buy one when the next Zelda is out. I was thinking of getting one when SMG came out but I set myself back financially (College student) when I bought a PS3 (and like 4 games) and a 37" Aquos.

Even then, Im kinda glad I didn't just cause the only game I'd LIKE to get for the Wii is SMG (MAYBE metroid)

I'm sure by then there will be enough games to warrant a purchase, maybe even a price drop, and HOPEFULLY a black model, to match with my awesome elite, ps3 and piano black LCD

Are there any games for consoles you guys DONT own that would make you think about purchasing that console?

Well I bought my Wii back in May..... I bought it for SMG, I figured spend $350 now (and play RE:4 & Zelda:TP) or spend $350 in Nov. when SMG comes out....

basically $350 now is the same as $350 down the road.

PS. I bought my Wii specifically for Mario & Zelda

I'll drink to the Zelda franchise! That, SSBB, and Galaxy are the biggeset reasons I want a Wii. The moment, the MOMENT, new Zelda footage is released, I am concentrating all funds on a Wii. Zassimick

I think we can all expect to see Zelda NeXt @ E3 08

Im not buying a PS3 untill, well to be honest there are hardly any games that are gonna come out for the PS3 that Id consider buying a PS3 for. So Ill probably buy one when the price drops even further.

agreed. i think it's ok for a person to dislike a console but to hate it with passion it's stupid. it's just a non-living thing. you might be angry with things because of not functioning well or being broken but hating things (i'm referring to non-living things that can be touched) with passion it's really weird.

if you're a college student i assume you are either from a rich family or taking out loans. I don't see why you would waste money on a new tv and expensive game system. that mentality fascinates and depresses me.

i suppose you could have grants but they usually come with grade requirements which those purchases can only hurt.

Hater is a really strong word and you don't sound like a hater to me. You are thinking about buying it after all.

Wii is already a great purchase as secondary platform. Twilight Princess (8.8), Metroid Prime 3 (8.5), Resident Evil 4 (9.1), Zack & Wiki (8.5), Super Mario Galaxy (9.5), WarioWare (9.1), Super Paper Mario (8.8), Wii Sports (7.5), Umbrella Chronicles (7), Medal of Honor Heroes 2 (8), Trauma Center (8) and all the fantastic Virtual Console games. Wii has the worst online support, but the best downloadable games. Games like Super Metroid (8.5), Ocarina of Time (8.9), Super Mario Bros 3 (9) and Paper Mario (9) are still absolutely worth buying. Those are the scores here on Gamespot.

Indeed. No game alone is worth of upgrading a PC. And definitely not Crysis.
