Yeah Gears multiplayer definitely isn't for everyone. You should definitely check out the campaigns though, they are pretty awesome.

Quite possibly the WORST concept of Cover & Shoot by using disgustingly HUGE obsurd looking muscle men soldiers. Oh Yeah, like it's really really hard to miss them.
And the stiff controls no matter the sensitivity while aiming and the running faster but don't hit the wall too fast after press A doesn't give justice to the game either.

Agreed, the controls are far to stiff. Now I don't know if that's me being more use to the Ps3 controller but I don't think it is. Also(bolded) just doesn't make any sense to me. Why of all buttons did they choose the same one that makes you take cover!? Also you should be able to switch what shoulder you are aiming over. Every TPS needs this.

I am sure most 360 owners like my self have gone more than 2 weeks without Live due to RROD. I had 4 RROD's in the first 2 years and the first time I sent it in took 6 weeks. The next 3 only took 2 weeks or less though. So i have missed way more time of live than PSN.

The metroid switch was a joke. I thought you'd see the funny side to the Halo/Metroid swap lol. And yes they are different games. Which is why I like them for different reasons.
As for the school bus that was a reference to Elpresador. Watch this video at 3:30 - 4:15. His laugh is killer.
