I can see it being great for kids, especially considering the cheap prices for games. Unfortunately, most people arent aware of the thing and will go PS4 for the indie games for their kids.
Getting it on the 25th, has a lot of emulators now (Neo Geo, N64, SNES, NEX, Genousis, ect) and some native simple fun games at launch that I want to play like "Tower Fall, Nightmare Tower, Vector, Rush Bros, ect, ect". Also can side load many games.
Also XBMC works great with ICe films and many other video repositories. So thats awesome if you like watching & streaming movies.
