What do you think about this?Ayaaan
But how do you know this?
Are you an expert? Or a game developer?Â
My point is that games like Wii Sports or trauma Center couldn't have been done on the gamecube, while Gears or Resistance would've worked on Xbox or PS2 respectively, although with a graphics downgrade.AyaaanControl is just another change...Nothing out of this world.

Would the AI for GeoW and R:FoM be much worse? Would the physics work? In GeoW would the cover system probably fail at life? Would there be much, if any, online support for either game? Which games got better scores on GS? Thus your point about the wii is meaningless.

I dont think so... 17 GB of data on for a PS2 game? How many disks do you want to play the game in... CAN Ps2 do the physics with multiple enemies, bodies, and others on screen at once? I doubt it... All these things require more than what the PS2 is capable of... (correct me if Im wrong...)

Size of the levels too and AI. The maps in Resistance are pretty big, same with the levels and the AI in Resistance is some of the best i've seen in a game.

(correct me if Im wrong...) there was some game with 50 people online on the ps2 and xbox, i played it for a week. there was no lag to speak of, it was just boring.
yes, but aren't graphics a big part of immersion?paullywogAbsolutely. Immersion is key, and the ammount of processing going on in PS3/XBOX games makes the Wii look like an outdated Apple II gaming machine. Anyone who says this gen is not a leap above last, look at all the games which are pushing so many things visualy and physics wise. Last gen consoles would melt just to process one frame of rendering done on PS3/XBOX.
