Ass creed:odyssey free on steam

For two days. But if anyone haven’t seen it, you can play odyssey for freen until Monday. Giving it a whirl

Myself and must say it is surprisingly good so fare, thought origin was terrible btw, but they seems to have created all the terrible things in origin and created a really solid action-adventure game with a really amazing setting. And can’t beat that price:)

Entering a region and unlocking another 13 fetch quests got obnoxious, so I stopped doing them. The game's way too big.

I could never get into Assassin's Creed games. Too boring.

Odyssey and Origins are by far the best in the series with Black Flag. I know it ain’t saying much in a post-BOTW/TW3 world but eh.

I do agree theres too much side missions

Too many side missions should never be an issue. Shitty side missions that feel like some generic mmo's side quests is the issue here.

I agree, I don't get the hate for those games but I simply love the new gameplay style, it got me back into the series after Black Flag.

Great game. The series has improved since diluting the meta story and concentrating on the history.

I've got too much of a backlog and Origins didn't float my boat (though I hear this is better.) My next few months are taken up by ToCS 2 and 3, along with RE3 and FF7 Remake.

I find the game really fun....as long as you just do the main story and only a few side quests.

Problem is they make that hard to do without paying or grinding.

I ended up using a trainer to level after doing a few side quests and the game is much more enjoyable

I would try it out and all, but with the large amounts of balls the AC series suck, I think I may have to decline.

Only a free trial, it will go away in like an hour and you'll have to buy it.

The last 3 episode DLC's are godly, base game is kinda meh.

Kassandra was a sublime protag. I ended up liking her more than Aloy, but mainly because I vibed with her brash personality far more. This is a great get / freebie for Steam.

In terms of story and narrative it falls behind Black Flag and the other titles but Odyssey has the best combat system in the series and you can do a lot in the game , you can tame a bear or other animals , you have your eagle buddy that let you to navigate the whole beautiful landscape from up-top , you can craft special arrows with really cool abilities ... it's great , you should try it guys

In Origins every sidequest felt unique.

In Odyssey it goes something like:

"Kill 5 sharks in this region"

"Kill 5 Athenian ships in that region"

It felt like a giant step back...

Playing Ass Creed is mad yuck. You could play fun games instead.

Origins was already too big - at least half of the map was still covered after completing the story and some side quests, so I guess Odyssey is even bigger than that which is not a good thing.

Been playing Syndicate these past couple weeks and really liked it to the point were I did all the side missions. Must be in one of the best Asscreed games for me, after Black Flag (though I did not enjoy Unity, other than a couple missions, even when it follows the same basic formula as Syndicate).
