[QUOTE="hongkingkong"][QUOTE="Adrian_Cloud"][QUOTE="hongkingkong"][QUOTE="Adrian_Cloud"]The game looks boring anyways... its silly how all these rumours spread.Adrian_Cloud
I seriously hope you have seen the new videos and made your own astute and commited assumption on this game, otherwise please watch Official movie 3 on GS and eat you own words.
5 Main COmplaints so farRun throught crowds- ALERT!
Stealth Kill? PHSYCHE the guards were there the whole time!
Use projectile weapons from a far distance to kill target? I don't think so, you have to be right beside him to kill him?
Historical accuracy? none.. assasins weren't of english ethnicity back in those days.
Sorry if half the gameplay is running away from the gaurds, this game will get repetitive.
I'm sorry but you got it all wrong!
Firstly most of the time important people in the crusades were surrounded by gaurds, ands its cool that you get to do all the stealth sneaking up most of the time, killing 'em fighting then runing (thats where all the gameplay elements are brought in but its not always like that)
Secondly, You can use projectile weapons if you watched the darn video, watch and learn.
Historical accuracy, I don't know how accurate you wanted to get but the lead character isn't English he's Jewish and I may be rusty on my Crusades but Jews have been in Jeruselum for blooming ages.
I've watched some videos, obviously not all since i have very little interest in this game. Why couldn't they just make a POP instead of this. Whats the main characters name, Ailstar? I watched the video, and supposedly the game requires planning, if it was realistic his gaurds wouldn't be with him all the time. So fiind a time when is alone a shoot a porjectile, all of the videos i've seen have been "stealth" kills. Ubisoft should pay attention to MGS, because the purpose of using stealth is not to set of an alert and a grandeure chase scene ( its not fun after the 20th mission, where is the satisfaction in a job well done?).
The saving grace in this game is the combat, the great graphics and a decent sound track.
Its not a stealth game, its not like MGS and thats the point. It encorporates Parkour, balanced combat, a little bit of stealth action and some awesome graphics in the Mass Effect-like Real Time cutscenes.
I see what you mean about the replay value and how it looks all samey, but they only showed a limited amount of missions, there will be missions in the game that don't follow this stealth-kill-fight-run framework. And to be honest, once you are pushing NPCs over and diving 40 metres into a stack of hay you will tend to forget about MGS and Splinter Cell etc.
