Assassin's Creed vs Mass Effect

I've had the pleasure of playing both games and, well, just wow. Mass Effect does have it's share of technical bugs, but when you consider the scope and depth of the game, whatever bugs it has are completely forgiving. Assassin's Creed on the other hand shares some of the same bugs, only underneath it's gorgeous exterior, it's a pretty shallow game. Seeing Gamespot rate Assassin's Creed higher than Mass Effect is just completely laughable in my opinion.

Reminds me of when they gave THPS 3 a perfect 10. Just ... LOL bad.

It's not even close. Mass Effect is the better game by far. Assassin's Creed isn't even in the same realm. I'm not saying Assassin's Creed is a bad game, not at all, but Mass Effect is on another level that seriously trascends what we've come to expect from games when it comes to storytelling, depth, and scope. It's like nothing I've ever played before. The closest experience I can compare it to is the first time I played Final Fantasy VII, only imagine that you were not just watching Cloud's story unfold, but you were Cloud and the desciscions you made ultimately decided how the story unfolded. It's truly the next level of RPGs.

Yes it has more than a few technical glitches, but none of them are game breakers and none of them affect my enjoyment of the game itself. I can't understand how anyone that has played both can rate Assassin's Creed higher, when, as pretty as it is, it's a painfully shallow game.
