Assassins Creed is probably longer, there are WAY more options for proceeding wit a mission, you kill people out in the open and there is no magic involved in the game.
The only similarity is that you belong to a Cult of Assassins.
Well, the Dark Brotherhood quests were easy thanks to Chameleon armor. Assassin's Creed doesn't have invisibility as far as I know.
Oblivion didn't have you doing things like assassinating kings, opting out for a certain prisoner and soldiers instead. I'm going to guess that AC will have you doing something much more memorable.

Are you sure everyone is out in the open? No one is in their homes?

So you are saying Assassins Creed will be ever better than Oblivion's Dark Brotherhood quests? If so, then AC deserves GOTY for sure.

The Dark Brotherhood quests weren't any good IMO so a game based entirely on assassinating people ought to do a better job, no?

Weren't any good? Are you kidding? They were the best quests in the game, and I think most would agree on that.

The Hashashim killed their targets in public, also all the assassinations we have seen of the game have occured in the open. Not saying it is not possible to kill people inside, but the gameplay's main appeal is to run a crusader through on a crowded street corner to the horror of passing citizens then making a run for it.The Hashashim killed their targets in public, also all the assassinations we have seen of the game have occured in the open. In at least one demo, Altair was forced to go inside the building where the target was hiding. Of course, that started a linear chase sequence where the target run around outside, but it does look like there will be some indoor missions, too.

Armor enchanted with Chameleon eliminateswhat little stealth thereis in the Dark Brotherhood quests (and pretty much eliminates the challenge in almost everything else too). Taking away the stealth elements in agame or questthat focuses on stealth takes away the fun.

Yeah I had that in mind when I said possible,,,,but the guy met his end in a market outside while turning into an alley.Assasins creed is a completly diffrent game.....its a action/stealh/assasin game where oblivion is a rpg/sandbox, point is u cant compair themGuitartod
Of course you can compare Oblivion's Dark Brotherhood quests to AC, because they both involve missions with stealth and assassinations. Just because there is no magic or constant weapons/armor upgrades in AC, doesn't mean you can't compare them. Afterall, Oblivion is a Action RPG.
