Im confident that at some point between 2023-2024, Xbox Game Studios published games will occupy all 10 positions on Steam Charts.

They came pretty close back in August 2020 with SOT, Gears Tactics, MSFS, Wasteland 3, Halo: MCC, and Grounded taking up 6 positions of the Top 10 Steam Charts (but MS didn't publish Wasteland).

Once XGS output gets properly going even more than they are now......oof.

Most definitely not with the likes of Hellblade 2 but they did acquire many PC gamers beloved studios so who knows. Still highly doubtful they will release 10 games in a year.

The way they are going it's very possible.

I can see some being in the top 10 but every single spot? No way, I can only seeing that happen for games like The Elder Scrolls 6 and Starfield since Bethesda games do super well on PC just look at how Skyrim and Fallout 4 launched and consistently stayed in Steam's top 10 most played games long after launch.

I can see most Xbox Game Studio games being top sellers on Steam since a good amount of them already are but I don't see them overthrowing the well established giants besides.

They were able to hold 6 positions at once, a year and a half ago.

To be clear ITT.....I dont mean top 10 for the month, or the week. Just that at any point, XGS simultaneously holds all 10 positions, for any length of time. Whether that be one hour or one day.

Does this mean neither Dota nor Counter Strike in top ten?

Not going lie, it's certainly possible with all of their Bethesda games in the pipeline and IF their GaaS games remain as popular.

It'll also depend on the unpopularity of PC GamePass. They have a slew of PC centric games that should push more and more people to subscribe. It's just of time until PC gamers accept a subscription service and buy less of their games. (which is the point)

Well if they only hold the top 10 for only a very brief moment of time then it won't mean much as there are plenty of games that have had good launch and preorder sales but completely died after launch a week later. It should be a top seller for a consistent amount of time or sell a megaton amount of copies in a short time.

That's still going to be a big challenge for Microsoft since Steam's 2021 top gross revenue games none of Microsoft's games were in the top 12. However they were shortly after in like the top 30 so that means they have potential. There is a lot of competition on PC to be a consistent top 10 seller. There tend to be games on PC that come out of nowhere like Naraka Bladepoint, New World and Valheim that are popular and dominate in sales. I still only see games like Elder Scrolls 6, Fallout and Starfield being able to compete with these megaton anomalies and established giants that come out on PC.

I'd say it could happen. Will it? I'm not sure, but once Starfield, ES6, and a few other big hitters release it is possible. I guess the biggest question to whether it could happen or not to me would be, how long of a timeframe will there be between big games on the Xbox?

Meanwhile on Sony we’ll be lucky to get one game a year. Sony is so lazy at developing games.

Its not hard to make a prediction find some video that supports it (even easier if you dont include gameplay) and ignore everyone else.

I owned a PS5 before I owned an Xbox Series X, because I wanted to play some of the PS4 games the best way they could be played.

Yup, I found an empty PS5 box on release date when limited people managed to get one, brought it next to my computer and took a picture for system wars. You think I'm that good.
