Atari said the site reviewed a pirated download version so they said take down the review. The site didnt and Atari sued them for 50k

Uh what? What's wrong with you people? Atari accusing a site (who rated one of Atari's games unfavorably) of reviewing a pirated version of the game makes it true how?

Let's hope it won't come to that.

Anyhow, from what I understand 4Players ordered the game from a store, since Atari apparently decided to not send out review copies as they know it won't be particularly well received by the critics and they've put a lot of resources into this one.

Atari has also apparently cancelled their ad campaign with 4P.

Remember Titan Quest? The pirated copy was crippled compared to the final release, and because of its bad rep, the game sold poorly and the studio had to shut.

Sucks but true, pirating is wrong as it is, but these people are making money off it, most crackers themselves do it as a hobby
