I am oldschool gamer and antisocial. I play games when i want to get away from people. Coop can be fun but i kind of outgrew that and me and my friends went our separate ways on that stuff a long time ago. If i were in college that might be different but i'm not.
I honestly don't like that a lot of games now are focusing on coop. I bought the game now i need to round up people every time i want to play it. That sucks imo. It's hard enough getting people out of their daily schedules to play basketball on sundays.
single player, i kind of hate multiplayer. i buy games for single player. something that i hate the most is co-op. i hate games that require co-op in a game. resident evil 5, the game requires co-op and ada is horrible if u play it on single player. she gets in the game. it takes a lot of work to get go through the game when there is horrible AI. multiplayer is just bought into some games.
Becuase gaming provides a unique thrill and various experiences that make the user more powerful and/or helpful than in real life than more so than any other medium could provide
