I was under the impression this would only be available to peeps that bought the hardened edition of mw2, but it is available to purchase for £11.99 on psn (and presumably xbox live).

Activision appear to have completely forgotten to promote this. I initially thought this would be popular like battlefield 1943 (which appears to have been very popular, eventhough bad company was only a modest hit), but judging by the forums, i guess not

Multiplayer is included, with leaderboards.

The classic is really fun to be honest, i played it a little and it got trophies :P .. anyways i thoguht it looked like world at war tho the controllers are diffrent and not so good graphics

Don't buy it the graphics are horrible compared to Modern Warfare 2. There are also no perks or achievements. Low point of the Call of Duty series IMO.

It's there available on your UK or Europe account. It doesn't have a free trial though.

yeah thats the only game ive been playing all day, havent even touched MW2 yet :o but the MP is really bad compared to pc version

To me Call of Duty 1 was the best in the series, the online was actually ballanced, and required team-work, and the Single Player was actually longer and had more memorable and more intesne large-scale battles. Atleast in my opinion.

Hopefully aside from input, nothing has been changed and consolites will now see how far the Call of Duty series has fallen.
