ATTN: The PS3 is NOW only 1 AAA behind 360 at GR. The gap sure is closing fast!

EDIT: The formerly Playstation Network exclusive AAA Whipeout HD: Fury is getting a full blu-ray release, and is now a proper PS3 title, to be released on october 13th. Therefore it is elegible to be counted in this list.

PS3 AAA at GameRankings: 15 (Wipeout HD not pictured)

360 AAA at Gamerankings: 16

Now, I know some games were left of of the list, thats because the other version wasnt AAA (beatles rockband was only AAA on PS3, orange box only AAA on 360).

Just like 3 weeks ago I made a couple threads saying that PS3 would pass 360 in total AAA very soon, because it has the most guarranteed AAA comming out for it, and most of you said "well the 360 is getting AAA in that time too!"

Well, its happening much faster than I expected. just 2 weeks ago, the PS3 was behind 4 total AAA titles, and now the gap is only 2.

And we have all these AAA candidates comming:

Uncharted 2 (guarranteed AAA)

God of War 3 (Guarranteed AAA)

Ratchet and Clank Future 2 (most of them are AAA, and the last one is 89%)

The Last Guardian (Both of the games before it are AAA)

Heavy rain (critics are nerdgasming over it)

Mag (Very polished, potential AAA)

Agent (Made by Rockstar North, the GTA team, they make nothing but AAA titles)

Gran Turismo 5 (One of the most critically acclaimed and commercially sucessful franchises in gaming, GT3 is higher than halo 3 at GR)

The PS3 will easily be destroying the 360 in AAA VERY VERY soon.

So have publisers decided to not release any games for the 360, from now on and 2 years into the future? Because I don't see The Last Guardian coming anytime soon.

And how's it doing on Gamespot?

The 360 has 22 AAAs on gamerankings.com. XBLA titles are playable games (shocking, I know). It was decided that anything above 89.5% is rounded up to 90% when Uncharted came out.

Sorry to break this out to you, but out of those AAAs, only two of the PS3 list are exclusive, whereas the Xbox contains six exclusive. It's easy to compare AAA games when they're not console restricted. Edit: My bad, you actually have 3 exclusives there.GFugue
