Before you yell that it's paid or corrupt, they bought their own copy of COD AW in order to get around the review embargo that doesn't lift until tomorrow (Nov 3rd)
"Instead we bought the game ourselves and present this review without any form of embargo to adhere to."
Reviewer seemed to enjoy the multiplayer, highlighting the gun-on-gun gameplay with less focus on rolling killstreaks and the Map design combined with the exo suit movement. He also noted the TTK seemed fair, but some weapons are OP--hopefully balanced later
The campaign is also given praise for being fun in its own right, mentioning it's about 8 hours. And for you House of Cards fans: " Spacey chews the scenery with an Underwood-style verve as he plans to establish global military supremacy"
Overall:
"Still, these are small problems in a superb overall package, one that has me interested in Call of Duty again. For a future warfare title with drones and jetpacks, Sledgehammer's success is partly to be found by looking to the series' past, and by combining its own ideas with COD's natural appeal it has reinvigorated the franchise."
- The exosuits are fun, and reinvigorate a stale franchise.
- Multiplayer maps are superb.
- Campaign isn't totally rubbish.
- Some weapons are overpowered.
