Bad Company 2 Mutiplayer or Modern Warfare 2 Multiplayer (Poll)

I've played both these extensively. Of course I've only played the demo of Bad Company 2, but I have played about 10 hrs. I think I like Bad Company 2 better than MW 2. I think its more balenced and has more variety. What I do think MW2 does do better is gun play, The responsiveness of the weapons and satisfaction seems to be better. BC2 has much better immersion, and sound effects. Graphics are about the same. BC2 does seem a little more clunky on the control side, and I hate the fact that you cannot lay down like you can in MW 2. What do you guys think?

MW2 for me. From what i saw in the gameplay videos, BF:BC 2 doesn't look so awesome

MW2 is twitchier and has better controls. BC2 has better gun physics, has bigger maps and vehicles. I think BC2 is way better, I can actually see people working together in this rather than lone wolfing it just to get a higher K/D.

I prefer playing a game where I cant die with only 3 shots.

Graphics are about the same. Are you joking? MW2 graphics are ugly compared to BC2. Plus BC2 has destructive environments.

. BC2 does seem a little more clunky on the control side, It isnt as arcady, guns have somewhat of a feel to them.

and I hate the fact that you cannot lay down like you can in MW 2. Have to fully agree on this one, its a battlefield war type of game, they need it so you can go prone.

Badcompany is wayy better, even the demo i thought was better than MW2.

BC2 easily. MW2 looks better, but BC2 is only a demo at the moment, so no real comparisons can be made. Gameplay-wise, i can see who you think it'd clunky. Feels more like KZ2 but not as exagerrated, which is a good thing, much better than CODs twitchy gunplay. Good amount of recoil, spray and pray is impossible unless at close range. Definitely more balance, one thing I hate about COD is how overpowered the Snipers can, even at massively long range. BC2 requires you to get a headshot (usually need to aim about a cm above their head - gravity) or shoot again. Also, you have gravity on the bullets too and there's more than enough weapons and attachments. Vehicles feel great too. Just waiting for a BF3 now.

Edit: Dirt is not part of a gun model... :roll:

I'll stress again, BC2 does not look as good as MW2. Much larger maps, vehicles, more activity and destructable environments makes this difficult. And lack of prone is a good thing. No campers. The camo in BC2 is better done making courched people hard enough to see anyway. Also, BF series is much more like a sim compared to COD. In COD, where some places you can't prone, they're are many areas where proning would be difficult/unfeasible. BC2 avoids this grey area but simply disabling it. Too many times I can avoid getting killed in COD by going straight into prone.

Finally, you can kill and get killed in a 1v1 gun fight which isn't possible in COD.

Well BC2 isn't out yet... So idk, but I hated MW2's online. The glitchiest Most camper/noob friendly game Ive ever played

I really like both, but I'd say Bad Company 2 as there isn't near as many problems online as MW2 (camping, killstreaks, heartbeat sensors, akimbo shotguns, glitches, etc.) But I really like bother, but BC2 seems more well done to me.

Bad Company 2 is the superior game IMO. From the betas I have played (Arica Harbor and Port Valdez) I have had much more fun with Battlefield.

I even liked the beta more than MW2, and the new demo blows the beta out of the water.

And bullet drop rules. Long range headshots ftw.

Well MW2 is broken beyond repair, and BC2 demo is awesome, so I'm going with BC2.

BC2 is less personal, with less customization and options for expressing yourself, but its larger and more team based. The vehicles take the place of killstreaks allowing anyone access, while it encourages working together and doing objectives over getting kills and speeding through.

Overall, you can't really compare. Both are great, but different enough you can't pick a definitive better game.

Of course they are completely comparable. BFBC 2 has a class system, some light perks, and leveling system but it is not as noob friendly with broken builds and whatnot.

BFBC2 also has bullets that travel, destructable enviroments, and much more team based objectives. If you don't fight as a team, you lose as a team.

Overall MW2 imay be the most dumbed down competitive shooter ever made. It was made so ALL players have a fair chance at winning. Deathstreaks, killstreaks, heavy emphasis on perks, and the insane level system (that completely takes away from any team play), all are attempts at making it so everybody is exactly equal no matter how good you are.

In BF BC2, it isn't twitched based. If your fingers aren't as fast as mine that is no problem. Get points by healing other, fixing things, resupplying ammo, or flank the enemy and easily kill them. MW2 forces head first engagements with its small maps with very little team tactics. A noob there is only balanced by perks and streaks. In BF BC2, a noob can find easy ways to adapt with its much more open sytle of maps.

Why on Earth isn't MAG in that poll. MAG for the win most definitly. MAG gives an action packed experience, like MW2 while doing it on huge maps like bc2 provides. One game is to noobish (mw2) and the other game is a ghost town (bc2) while MAG, is more hardcore (hate saying that) and provides plenty of targets to engage, giving a non stop thrill ride of full blown action.

Move over boy and girls theirs a new kid on the block and that is MAG!!!

BC2 by a landslide. It is infinitely more tactical and squad-based.

Bad Company 2 all the way. Judging by the demo, it's a far superior experience to MW2 in evey way, imo. I can see most who voted agree. :D

Dude I'll just say this MAG has truely been a pleasant surprise to me. LAG free gameplay, smooth frame rates, team work has been awesome, action is non stop, great community that I promise will continue to grow. The game is definitly addictive, and it makes you want to jump on and just help your faction out if not just playing sabotage for 15 or 20 mins., you really tend to start to feel like you are part of something. Like right now we on Valor have earned contracts on Sabo that gives +5 exp points and on Requistion that gives a -5% cool down time on artillary. And those are earned through wins and losses by a faction. MAG is truely a thrill ride.

P.S. And the heathens that are SVER have earned contracts on Domination. If your a SVER, I promise I have a cross hair on you :)

You got used to the insta-kill noobfest in MW2, that's why you think it takes "forever" to kill someone in BFBC2. In reality, the amount of bullets it takes to kill someone in BFBC2 is perfectly normal, just like any other shooter (Halo, Counter-Strike Source, Team Fortress 2...); MW2 is the problem, not this game.

BF:BC2 is a lot better than MW2. For one thing, it's fun, and for another thing, it's challenging. I laugh at all those people who say it takes an entire clip of ammo to kill someone. Shooting in bursts help a lot. The teamwork is a lot better, and it actually feels like I'm fighting in a battle most of the time.

Imo MW2=played for like a month nonstop, bfbc2=i will still play at after like a year.

I honestly think KZ2 should be compared to BFBC2 more than MW2. THAT would be an epic showdown of two tactical squad based shooters. Team work and proper use of classes are required in these games. Plus Killzone 2 already knocked Modern Borefare Poo from the throne IMO :D. Killzone 2 and Bad Company 2 are by far the best multiplayer games I've played this gen (so far). And thanks to the AMAZING DICE we will get another spectacular MP from them later this year with Medal of Honor!TREAL_Since

its just too bad that the noobs dont know how to shoot in KZ2 (or cry because of a little bit of weight to the guns). noobs: gametrailers.

THAT IS THE SINGLE PLAYER CAMPAIGN AND IT LOOKS ****ING INCREDIBLE... I'm at a loss for words almost because I had no idea it would be looking that good. If this game releases with not a lot of bugs, DICE has really outdone themselves. I'm just praying that they didn't rush this games release and they polished/tested the **** out of this game.

What really gets me is the explosive AND diverse sound quality. The graphics are also one of the best. The gameplay looks fun and one that takes effort to master with all the various types of vehicles and guns with different recoil (unlike other games that have guns with barely any recoil. *cough MW2*).

Btw, this is coming from a past CS:S player who has almost mastered all the guns in the series as they have be treated differently in terms of controlling recoil. I think I'll wait for reviews, but if they game is like what I see in this video, then it's going to be.

On the sound, the best thing about it, is when it changes tone and pitch for say, when you've been shot. Having 5.1 dolby digital makes this a wonder! And yes, the gun play is comparable with KZ2, as are the maps and team work (although KZ2 is some more congested maps). I just wish KZ2 MP had all the vehicles and heavy artillery it had in the SP.

BC2 is great, but somehow, i feel the overall gameplay is off from BF2. Gunplay is better, land vehicles about the same, but air vehicles feel a bit sketchy sometimes.

Gunplay (the most important aspect of any FPS) is amazing, beats KZ2 and topped that as best gunplay this gen.
