"In addition to nailing down a release date for Vietnam, EA today announced a release date for VIP Map Pack 7. Launching tomorrow, December 1, the downloadable content packs in the original Battlefield: Bad Company maps Oasis and Harvest Day, as well as Heavy Metal and Cold War, two new environments taken from Bad Company 2's single-player campaign. Map Pack 7 will be free for PC players and console players who redeemed their VIP code, which comes with all new copies of the game."

the first time I played the game in like 5 months was over Thanksgiving break.

I re brought it a few days ago, can't wait for new actual maps, BTW, Vietnam comes on the 21st.

Too bad tomorrow I'm starting AC Brotherhood BC2 will have to wait.

It's a patch as well, G3 now has scopes, and many other things.

Yep, it has fixed a lot of things, many weapons got toned down a bit and some got better, it seems the hit detection isn't that bad anymore.

I'm not sure I'd consider it a good thing. since the bonus of picking a shotgun or Misc. weapon like the G3 was getting C4. iron sights were kind of a pain to work with on those guns, but at least it'd keep the assault c. lass from being a killing machine(at medium to medium/long range) and demo man at the same time.

I did care for the game - for a week or so. Then it knocked me out cold. It had its fair share of problems aside from the boring maps, and was obviously a 'consolized' experience too. I could go on, but I wouldn't want to further enrage you with my hatin'. ;)

Yes. :P I wasn't a big fan of BF:BC2. That being said, there are definitely things from that game I would like to see incorporated in BF3. Top-notch gun models and textures being two off the top of my head.

Good news for owners, but I sold mycopy three weeks ago. No, I didn't buy Black Ops with the money.

I hope these free maps will incentivise people to come back and play the game again.

when I started playing this game again last week the first game I was put in only had me and one other person. then he quit and I was by myself until 5-6 people eventually joined.

I think I've been in maybe...one 10 vs 10? otherwise, it's 7 vs. 7 at best. kind of disappointing.

it's still fun. and if a game's playing slow on defense, I just mill around the buildings with Assault class trying to get on top of those buildings/structures or whatever cool hiding spots I can find. and then laugh when I get a bunch of kills because I camp the crate from a roof that no one else knows how to get on.:P
