I have both games and while Gears 2 looked fantastic, I can't help but not be impressed with graphics because it looked way too much like the original. Now I played Banjo: NB and I was quite impressed with it. Not just artistically but technically it looked better than anything I"ve played on a console...especially in those huge worlds, I didn't know how the game played so well without much of fps drop. The water is probably the best I've seen in any game on any console and just the whole look of it is great. It's great that Rare is one of the few devs out there that can take a colorful game and also make it look impressive. Anyway, am I the only one who thinks this?
Don't even bother. All these little punks, these little shooter fanboys, they can't be convinced that their precious little Gears is inferior in any way to a non -shooter game.

Agreed. Gears 2 looks VERY VERY real which is what it is going for. It looks absolutely amazing and just because you can see far in a game, doesn't mean it has good graphics, it means it has a good draw distance. Graphics-wise, Gears wins hands down.
