I got my latest issue of Game Informer in and it got a solid 8.5 and the reviews said great things about the game.. After the demo I was pretty disappointed but if it has solid multiplayer i might buy it.. so, should i buy it and how is the online?

I wouldn't buy it for the MP, the SP is where it shines.

Hmm it might be a pass then, Im big on multiplayer.. If a game has bad multiplayer i usually dont buy it, although it is only $40.00 and in a few weeks I can probably get it used and get 10% off with my gamestop edge card and get it for $30.00, so I might buy it then

multiplayer is a blast ( just kinda takes a while to find a game). I think most people are concentrating on SP first, finding all the vehicle parts b4 hitting the online modes. If you have a friend that owns the game then its definatley worth it, i didn't think trying to beat eachothers distance on the long jump chanllenge could be so much fun.

REally loving this game, it rewards creativity.

If you want to perform well in Multiplayer (which is great fun) you should really play through the single player campaign to get as many of the best parts possible for your vehicles.

Single player may have come off as a bit iffy to you in the demo but in the full game it's much better. For example that pain in the ass Clanker "Protect the Eyes" Challenge? You get a part early on called an Egg Turret that can move 360 degrees in place and has a low ammo cost. Easy pass.

So I highly recommened the game, even though you'll have to weather single player to get to the content you want.

The game is actually a lot of fun, even in singleplayer. And, like said before me, playing through the singleplayer gives you access to much better parts for multiplayer.

You should save your money and just get Banjo on XBLA instead. The game has a very novel idea but it isn't executed very well at all.

I think its good, the multiplayer is fun, I've only played a couple rounds, everyone is mostly playing through single player so they can have the parts for multiplayer, and have built a bunch of good vehicles for the online.

I played some good LOG's choice multiplayer matches, where you dont use your own vehicle, but a prebuilt one. It was a ton of fun.

If you like building vehicles, you'll definately like the game, and the online play.
