Bash your own Console

I was thinking that it'd be interesting to see some critical opinions from gamers about their favorite console.

360:

1. Hate feeling like any day could be my 360's last.

2. Would rather not pay for online gaming.

3. Lack of quality games that arent't filled with violence that interest me.

Okay:

The Cell was a terrible investment on Sonys part, especially considering that most games are GPU centric.

the ps3 is simply too awesome for me to handle it :(

PS3 - I hate how long it takes to download updates whether it be system or game - my net connection is fine btw

Wii - Is an expensive ornament - haven't bpught a game for it 17 months!

My PC cost me quite a bit...

My PS3 lacks some awesome 360-exclusives...

My Wii is generally only used when I with a group of people...

My PSP lacks enough good games to keep me interested...

360:

1. Could you make the thing any louder? I can stand the noise, but c'mon Microsoft.
2. I have a Falcon, but I'm just waiting till this bird is shot out of the air.
3. Has some great add-ons...if you love throwing money out the window.

PS3:

1. I love the shiney gloss finish that scratches so easily that running a cloth over it and running a knife over it do the same job.
2. Honestly, can this thing gather dust any faster?
3. Amazing motion control that games don't use for crap that Sony just copied off of Nintendo when they saw the Wii's controller.

1. Too much quality. Not usually a bad thing, but its like eating so much seafood and meat and pasta you get overstuffed. :)

2. Costs too much. I can't remember god knows how much money I've spent this generation. Not just the console itself but the amount of games I bought. :)

3. Makes die in anticipation. GT5, GOW3, FF13...you know.

4. Reluctance to do anything else. Too much fun playing games are making my school effort going poor. :(

-Wanna try out some Xbox 360 exclusives, specialy Halo3

360: Worst exlusives, RROD, pay extra for online

PS3: PSN is not as good as XBL, slightly worse multiplats

WII: Awful online, bad graphics

360 = pay to play online

Ps3 = no universal xmb support thoughout games (custom music)

wii = needsbetter online

pc =energy consumption

all 4 = constant cleaning, god i hate dust

ps3:.............. ok, in general, a housekeepers nightmare. the thing collects a tonne of dust a day! also very fragile and not movable at all...a bit more exclusives wouldn't be bad...

PS3- long downloads always make me mad. Before I switched hdds I hated the install because i kept running out of space. No Mass Effect. Ummmm I think that's it

360- Don't have one anymore but when I did, I never could play online because I was not willing to pay for it. And no games that interested me too much. Ohh and it was loud and my hdmi port was F*cked.

Wii- No REAL games. I have about 9 disc games on it and those are the only games that interested me... And they're old now too. Online play is stupid and I hate the friends system.

PC:

It lacks good exclusives lately.

Crysis is really the only real excuse for an expensive graphics card.

Many games lack support after they're released.

As a PC user I feel like a second class citizen.

1) Bad ports
2) Updates are slow (my connection?)
3) Price was a bit much (have the 60GB so I guess it's a 50/50)
4) Paying for themes and add-ons are whack (we pay $60+ as it is..)
5) Digital Distribution "only" for games sucks (I like hard copies/disc)
6) YLOD (My version)
7) Sixaxis never gets any use (Atleast use it once "Sony" or multi games jeez)
8) Different colors would be hella cool SKU (Japan gets Satin Silver and White wtf?)

360 -

I feel like the golden age of 360 gaming (06-08) has passed. There hasn't been anything coming out for the console this year, and the future looks pretty threadbare aside from multiplats. I'll rent ODST, get Mass Effect 2 and Fable III, and I'm intrigued by Alan Wake and the next Splinter Cell. No interest in Forza 3 personally, but I'm not a racing fan. That being said, the 360's the established console, so its existing game catalog is extensive and most of the good-great ones can now be had for really cheap (like under $20, which is awesome).

PS3 -

I'm a new PS3 owner so I'm pretty excited right now. Big complaint is that the existing game library isn't deep. Only Killzone 2, MGS4, and MLB 09 look like must-buys to me. Uncharted, Resistance, et al seem more like rentals given their short playtimes. But what's coming out...wow. I started watching videos of Heavy Rain and Uncharted 2, and it feels like looking at the next next generation. I mean, I was playing Condemned just last week, a 360 launch title, and the advances made within this cycle are astonishing. And I think the biggest advances are coming in PS3 exclusives that begin to max out the console's power.

PS3 - 1. PSN isn't as good as XBL.
2. Newer models don't have PS2 backwards compatibility
3. I hate the PS3 controllers.

PC - 1. Expensive.
2. Windows is a pos.

Wii - 1. Basically just collects dust because most the games released are casual garbage that I have no interest in.
2. I don't really like the Wiimote.

360 - 1. RROD.
2. E74.
3. I have had 18 of them die on me.
4. I hate the dpad on the controllers.
5. HDDs are overpriced.
6. XBL content has a bunch of licencing bs.

-A POS quality wise

-I pay for something that should be free. Everything else on live is worthless stuff that I don't use.

-I dont know when it'll break next.

-The only reason I have it is because my friends have it and so I can chill and play with em.

-all games I play now are multiplats, so it's worthless there too..

-I had to buy a wireless adapter because from where I was, it was impossible to reach my computer.

- I wasted more money on my 360 that if I bought a ps3 (at the time. Still now too actually >_>)

PC - you need updating i mean crysis... on medium

360 - please dont break on me for the forth time

ps3 - get god damn party chat unless you do that all my multi get played on my 360

easiest way to pirate games

360 = Scratched my Gears 2 disc :x, noisy, scared RROD might drop in at the wrong time (even if it can be fixed fast, no one wants to RROD when they get a new game), and xbox live expired the third week of August and I can't pay for it right now because I'm saving money for actual GAMES.

PS3= Collects so much dust it's amazing, won't play PS2 games, has been causing some connection problems with the wireless router ever since my sister bought a new Sony VAIO laptop.

Wii= Has been lacking in good third-party games since the release of No More Heroes (which means a lot since I don't like most of the first-party titles), the graphics on a lot of games bother me (and it's not just the hardware's fault... developers are to blame too), and the storage system is horrible.
