Bashing a systems library when its been out for 6 months is highly illogical

Why do people bash the PS3 and Wii's library when they have not been out for a year?

Is this constant bashing illogical or what?

I bet in another 6 months, there will be plenty of games for us to enjoy. At least on the Wii.

Because the 360's launch was significantly better than both.

Three AAAs by this time, and plenty of AA games.

But I think all three kind of sucked, but the games are coming. :)

For the PS3:

When you purposely release a system that is more expensive than similarily capable but less expensive existing technology that has existed for quite sometime already, like the 360, you need to hit the gas pedal and start out at the same efficiency and quality functionally and with you software. Sony is starting out like it is some new thing, but it's not. It needed to get the good games out there immediately. We won't wait for Lair, Heavenly Sword and MGS4 when right now we can play games superior to anything the PS3 has to offer on 360.

PS3's library is just games that 360 had 6-12 months ago. If they were released at the same time, fine, but a year into the console wars? Why play what you have already defeated? How do you justify paying $600+ on a console that has nothing more to offer than a less expensive, established one? That's why you can insult Sony's lineup, it's their own fault for lagging behind the rest of the world and arrogantly thinking they can just offer up nothing to sell their monster.

Every big "killer-ap" thus far aside from Resistance has looked good and yet is an empty shell (motorstorm) or has been delayed and delayed and delayed. They delayed the freaking rubber duck game yesterday for Christ's sake. That's just sad. I own both and you know what? I love to point out Sony is sucking right now cause they don't do a thing to justify my purchase of their system.

It's not so much that the ps3 library is terrible...it's just that it's odd that the highest priced system is the last to get a AAA game, and still without a AAA exclusive.  It seems to me like Sony raised the bar with it's pricing, but didn't raise the bar with the games.

Following my posting history now eh? lol, cool. Just remember, despite my current PS3 hatred, I do own both systems. My hypocricy will grow greater once Lair and other good PS3 games come out. But then, I'll be a chearleader for both systems, not just the 360.

Lying to myself? Are you saying those type of glitches don't happen on a regualr basis here? That's odd. Yesterday when I signed in, I was stuck at level 1 with 0% for about an hour.

I bash Wii but only because it really has no games. At least some new games come out on PS3 every month. Wii has what? Zelda, Wii Sports, and Mario? Where's the 3rd party support?

Nothing on Wii excites me for the exception of SSBB. PS3 on the other hand excites me with MGS4, Burnout 5, Gran Turismo 5, Heavenly Sword, God of War 3, UT2007, Monster Hunter 3, Resistance, next gen Silent Hill, Grand Theft Auto 4, and so on.

I will tell everyone now who ever bashes the ps3's library of games, will get owned by sony when the big titles start coming out. Look for the ending of 2007 for the strong march back from sony and to be back in this competition between the 3. This might have something to do with the 360 having a handful of really great games from day 1, and thus set a new standard for what people expect from consoles.

But I agree with you; historically great games have rarely appeared until a console has been out for at least a year.
