Which action figures look more badass?
Team Metal Gear
Team Halo

The Cortana figurine looks odd.
But I really like the other 3, especially Raiden's. Chalk up another win for Team Metal Gear.
Well, I'll get this out of the way....I hate Cortana and her action figure is stupid (In my opinion of course). Now, the MC and Snake action figures look very good butthe Raiden figure is just plain awesome. And after the MGS4 trailer I actually have an interest in playing as Raiden again. Right on !
Snake was about to kill master chief before an uncontrollable bowel movement left him open for an energy sword to the face
Poor old old very very old snake

...but right as Master Chief lifted his energy sword for the death blow, he was distracted by a dirty magazine laid down by Snake, and squatted on the floor to "read the articles."
At which time, Snake drew his pistol.

Only to realize his primitive weapons cant penetrate the Chief's Armor all while Snake is having a... Bowel movement.

...but unbeknownst to MC, Snake was prepared for the worst.
"Octo-diaper", a special undergarment designed by tech specialist Otacon, kept Snake composed while his bowels emptied uncontrollably.
Tossing his ineffective pistol aside, Snake reaches for his rocket launcher....

Okay, back on topic: so yeah, I agree with others that the Raiden figure is the best.

It is the best. Do you have a picture that shows that whole Doll (sorry Action figure/Figurine) by any chance?

[QUOTE="fuzzysquash"]no prob ^^
apparently you can pull the blade out. It looks badass. Might slice some onions with it.

Mini Toy onions I assume?
Well, I was thinking of real ones, but if I can find some mini toys one's I will be sure to cut them with a vengeance.
they all look pretty meh, never was into figurines. and raiden's new upgrade just makes him look like a generic cyborg ninja, i liked that raiden was a noob in the series, he seems so out of character now, they might as well have written him off and had cyborg raiden a totally different character :\Kook18
A generic cyborg ninja?
How much? Maybe it would be better to compare them to the expensive Halo figures($99 ones)The MGS ones look better. But they're obscenely expensive. :(

Actually those aren't high heels.
Why is Raiden wearing high heels?
He's not. He's wearing one interconnected suit meant to maximize the potential of each part of his body individually, enhancing the whole. The contour of the foot part adds versatility to his actions. As you can see, he was even able to wield his sword using the suit-muscle and shape of the heel extension to grip
the hilt. For more, refer to the Raiden section in the Cast of MGS4 section.
Raiden's Boots
The other, much smaller issue regarding Raiden's suit is a purely aesthetic concern. Anyone who's seen the trailer or screenshots will notice that Raiden's not exactly wearing what anyone would consider normal boots or slippers. He has a uniquely designed foot-part, slightly reminiscent of something a mech is more likely to have than an actual human being. The base of the foot is thin and tilted downward, leading to a split-toe tabi shape at the tip of the foot. A tabi is a type of Japanese sock or shoe where the big toe is split from the remainder of the toes. Certain designs of tabi are designed for work purposes, softer and more flexible in favor of heavy steel toed workboots, the tabi give comfort to the wearer with the addition of the ability to grip and contort their feet against the ground in more versatile ways, and give added agility in general.
In the case of Raiden, this will help in combat situations, as his combat ****leans more toward that of a ninja than a soldier, he needs to be able to grip firmly but move quickly, flex, react, and run without the weight and restriction of general warfare combat gear. The most striking part of the foot-part is that the inside curvature of the foot is carved out, leaving a gap between where the toe and heel come in contact with the ground, giving the impression that he's "wearing high heels." In fact, he is not wearing high heels at all. He's not "wearing" any shoes. He's wearing an entirely interconnected suit with no individual pieces that would give way to such fashion choices as high heels. As we can see in the trailer, this too is a tactical design function that only serves to make Raiden even more versatile in battle. Raiden is able to use the space between the toe and heel to actually grab and grasp items as if it were in his hand, and wield them as such. Raiden equips a sword and tears Gekkou to pieces by slashing away at them with free-form martial arts all with his foot. I think it'd be hard to call such an ultimately subtle design choice truly detrimental to Raiden at all.Gamefaq

IfCortana ever decides to wear clothes she can borrow some from Raiden.
