This games screams Mirror's Edge at me. Especially the Metro map. I had my doubts about Frostbite 2 working for a Mirror's game, but it honestly looks like it was created for it.
Looks ok, you can get better videos from E3 off screen. Only problem is that the inside of buildings look empty, obviously they have time to address this and I hope they do.

I've never played ME but I have seen pictures and videos, so I got that vibe too.
I hope they add POM to the walls. They shouldn't be totally flat and should stick out a little. If Crysis 2 has it, so should BF3.

I agree, that's a totally underrated technique, even old games used Parallax Mapping like FEAR, and it improves the way the game looks by 101%. I have no idea why it isn't used in more games.
You have to equip grenades and knife again like in battlefield 2? That is great. Welcome change for cod mw2 and bfbc2 insta grenades and one press kills.

Unfortunately there is both the equippable knife a la BF2, and the quick-knife a la BC2. I don't know what exactly the difference is.
I know that both are in the game because it game straight from the dev's mouth during one of the livestreams during E3.
No this is a PC alpha multiplayer leak. If its even in alpha for consoles yet, that'd be a bit harder to release. Though Gears 3 proved alphas/betas aren't that secure :lol:

That's weird because I thought the exact same thing, it has a much cleaner look to it than Bad Company 2 did, only thing that sucks is that there's still smoke everywhere, I think it's to deter snipers but it's really annoying.

Yeah this is true. I think they mentioned that equipped knife attacks quiker i.e. doesn't have a long draw time while the quick knife is much the same as bc2, takes a while to draw and sheath before you can pull your weapon out again. I just pray that they don't make the quick knife as crap as bc2/mw2 with the stupid teleporting mechanics. "Hurrr there is someone at the top of a 3 story building, jump + knife = MEGA JUMP kill"
