that premium situation that call of duty call themselves doing, if battlefield 3 is done correctly, i beleive the momentum WILL DEFINETLY SWITCH because a person with negative IQ can see that activision going for the pockets hardcore this year. and to make it so bad, i remember when they said "we wont ever charge for our online" this is the slick way of doing it:|

Bad Company stole ideas? How/Why? It was always the superior MP. This is Battlefield. The true series that got the whole thing started. They have a big task to top BF2 for how great it was at the time. CoD is nothing and is no competition to Battlefield, especially the main series. Sales? Of course, but thats because blind lemmings (Not 360) will buy any CoD. Once its announced, they'll rush to the nearest Gamestop and preorder it.

Why would a review dictate whether you play FPS games or not?

Obviously BF3 should outscore it, but if it doesn't, I just blame noob reviewers that buy into the hype and have probably started gaming this gen.

lol I would be shocked if it didn't but who knows. I don't really care either way, but honestly, if the MP mode is as good as I imagine, and it will because it is DICE and BF games are awesome, then the game will be a minimum of a 9.5 for me :P. Super excited for BF3.

All bf3 has to do is make bf2 with pretty maps and I'm sold. I know they are doing more but still. I agree with the scores given between the two games unless EAs media hype budget includes contribution's to reviewer sites.

On the other hand, I bet user scores on PC will be in BF3s favour.

Battlefield is never going to outsell Call of Duty. Ever. No Battlefield games is going to sell more than 20 million units. It may be the better series, but it will never sell better.

After finally playing BF:BC 2................I'm far from excited now. Oh well, Red Orchestra 2 will be my Main FPS now when it comes out.
